Will Carlos get dumber with each new episode?

Example: It's the third act of episode 3. Clem and the others are escaping from Carver's stronghold. Carlos comes across a door. He stares at the knob, completely flummoxed.

"What the hell is this thing?! Does anyone know how it works?!"

:(. Carlos is my friend. I guess we'll have to see though. Its getting really ridiculous and unrealistic on how dumb he can be sometimes

"Clem can you use this device? I have no idea how to work these things" Carlos says. Clem gives him the look but tries to open the door and... PLOT TWIST the door is locked!

    DLC

Kenny walks in the room. "Hey Clem you can pick a lock right?"

"No? What makes you think that I can?"

"Well... Lee could have taught you because he was.... urban?"

  • "Clem, do you know how to do it?"

My stupidity senses are tinkling, oh HI Carlos.

Hey Clementine, could you tie my shoelaces?

  • Clem can you fix that guys leg?

  • "Clem, can you lift this huge rock for me?"

"Clem, can you drive this car for me?"

"Clem, can you beat Carver for me?"

    Carlos in a nutshell

  • When he asks Clem how big the small house by the bridge is...

  • Pierre Shorette is writing the next episode.

    Thank god for that.

"Does anyone know how to deliver babies? Clem?"

  • It would be hilarious if he did. By Episode 5, it would be Sarah taking care of him.

  • Did Pierre Shorette write any other episodes?

  • Clem, how do you inhale oxygen?

  • What adds to the irony is that he has a daughter of Clem's age that he tries to shield and protect, yet lets Clem do everything.

...actually, the entire group lets Clem do everything.

  • Clem how do you eat food?

  • Clem, how do I put my pants on?

  • Clem, where do babies come from?

  • Clem how do you even WALK?

  • It will only get worse from here

  • Dumb and Dumber starring Carlos and Sarah

Clem: There's a little house by the bridge!

    Carlos: How big is it?

My friend: It's huge, mr. Spanish dude. You're a great influence for your daughter...

That is seriously what my friend said. :P

  • Thankfully, Nick Breckon is returning for the finale, so we can trust that to be amazing as well. He also co-wrote All That Remains.

I seriously have no idea how Carlos could have ever gotten his medical license....

  • Season 2 DLC: Carley and Carlos trying to figure out how batteries work.

  • "Clem! I've just been bitten by a lurker. Can you check if it's a lurker bite?"

  • I bet Episode 5 is an infomercial. Starring Carlos.

    Alt text

  • It's in the name. In S3 there'll be another character called Carl who is a complete idiot.

  • I'm in fuckin tears from laughing.

God bless you, Robert Morgan and the Telltale community. For such a bleak game, these forums bring me such joy.

  • Maybe Carlos should have stayed in the house.

  • If it wasn't for Clementine, the entire group would be dead by now.
