I lost my Hope.
I wasn't expecting a death so soon in Episode 1, it caught me off guard.

I was pissed off because it wouldn't let me pick up the gun.

To be honest it was more of a "What, already?" kind of reaction from me.
I was just like "This is BS...." Reintroudce a character from season 1 and kill him off within 5 minutes... At least with Christa there's still the whole tension of "will she come back?"

But I pretty much expected Omid and Christa were going to be offed the moment they were spotted in screenshots. It would hardly do for an independent Clem to have two parental figures around, now would it? I'm now not so sure about Christa, but yeah, Omid was too happy to live.
I was NOT expecting that to happen. I was like "what?! No no no, it's just started, you can't do that!!" D': Dammit, he was one of my favourite characters ...

I was kind of annoyed it was he very first scene. Don't get me wrong, I am not against killing him off early in Ep1, but not this way, with the couple's only reintroduction being those few lines of dialogue. I would have added another scene before to make the current intro more shocking and to give new and old players an idea of why we should care that dude died.
Of course, maybe it works best as a one-time quick shock and saves time on replays.

It isn't about fangirling. I couldn't care less who you do or do not like. It's the fact that you parade in here in a celebratory fashion joyously 'dancing' (if you can call it that?) and indirectly (probably more directly than indirectly) mocking the people who are fans of the character. It's just straight up rude. I have the same problem with the Kenny fans (mostly) who consistently bash Lilly (which I believe I've seen you defend her and therefore like her). Even though I am personally not a Lilly fan I understand that others are. It's just about being slightly respective of others.
Out of all the characters in the game how could you be happy about Omid's death? It doesn't make any sense at all. He was a fun loving pleasant character, and was soon to be a father. His death left Christa alone even before their first child was born. But yeah, lets dance and throw a party. I'm not even a big fan of Omid, it just really looks like you're attention seeking or trying to be annoying here. Excuse me if I'm wrong.

It's not the fact that you post your opinion, UndeadEuan, it's the way it was presented. Presentation is everything when stating an opinion; you can be civil and calm about it or you can be antagonistic and annoying about it. To people, that gif makes it look like you are a jerk.
I agree otherwise that you are entitled to your opinion, but take this to heart: present it well and you wont be hated.
