Is first season ending superable?
ENORMOUS SPOILER AHEAD
To this date i havent met someone who hasnt have some kind of emotional reaction to first season ending and that is mainly cause they kill the main protagonist Lee someone you have learned to love and worry about and the relation you have build with Clementine ( for whom you worry even more about) and right now the only way i can imagine of superating it is by killing Clementine wich i highly doubt but you know that everything is possible

Not with the current lead writer.
...ouch.
I don't have anything to say about this statement other than I would not like receiving it; can't disagree, though.
My big brother didn't feel anything when he finished S1
Here's the actual convo:
Me: Did you cry on Season 1 Episode 5???
BigBro: Nope.
Me: Really?
BigBro, Did you?
Me: Yup.
BigBro: chuckles...
Tell your big brother he is rude enough to enter salty´s spitoon
Though he did write A House Divided which was okay, it's still a shame he's writing Episode 5. The guy who wrote TWAU Ep1 is writing In Harm's Way, which is good.
Not rude, Has a heart of freaking STEEL.
I didn't cry. I got sad sure, but it went away after the credits. I didn't really care much about Lee, as long as Clem was okay.
Yup, sums up my opinion. I do think he did a fine job in various areas of A House Divided, but a frigging finale? Throw your throw all your best writers and their grandmother to make that please.
How shall I put this? I like for the most part how he is writing the overall plot, and a few good scenes with our characters, but it is a little rough around the edges on characterization, development and consistency of the cast. Maybe that isn't just his problem; maybe the new design philosophy Telltale's been taking limits what scenes he can add to only those absolutely needed for the plot to advance, I don't know.
An episode ends up being the combined imput of director, writers, designers, etc. It's hard to discern who did what. So far, I get the impression that he's doing an ok job, just not something mind-blowing.
Your brother is a good liar.
I wish they'd got Mark Darin to write an episode. Starved For Help had possibly the best Character Interaction/Puzzle/Plot Development ratio and a great climax, and that's probably why it's almost the most universally liked episode.
i never said cry i said emotional reaction
i also thought the same
I didn't cry at the end, and didn't know of anyone doing so until I joined this forum. It was emotional and sad, but I didn't cry.
Because you're a hardened manly man. No one can compete with your stout and brawny man essence. You are a manly god amongst wimpy men.
The only thing missing from him is a Kenny-stache.
Killing Clementine wouldn't make me cry, it would make me RAGE. Still an emotional reaction, sure, but far from the right one.
Unless TTG actually does it in hopes of enraging gamers everywhere. Which would actually be kind of hilarious.
Good of you to notice. Really though, lol, I just didn't cry. I wasn't trying to judge anyone who did. I was just making it known that not everyone cried at the end. I do consider it one of, if not the most heart wrenching scenes in any game I've ever played, however.
Just in case that does happen, I want everyone to sharpen their pitchforks and gather their torches. We'll be ready to fuck shit up.
And don't forget to put on those Clem hats
I know. I was just giving you a hard time, friend. Sorry!
He has redeemed himself, fellow gamers!
For all you know I have a Kenny Stache, being the Godlike essence of masculinity I've been proclaimed to be. No Godlike essence of masculinity comes complete without a Kenny Stache.
I know, lol.
Damn straight
You have my keyboard.
