"We should keep her here," I said, "We need somebody to take up the role Harp filled. I'm too weak as of right now. She could hold whatever he did around here."
"That's a good point, but I personally am not letting her anywhere near my food." Aus said. "We should at least pat her down. Make sure she doesn't have any weapons. Viva can do that. He was gonna be in the fucking military. He oughta know how guns feel. "
"I agree with that." Awesomeo chimed in, "Viva, you wanna do it?"
"Sure. Why not?" Viva went to the bedroom Azlyn was just in and he said, "Come out here. We're gonna check you for weapons."

"Then we figure it out." He led her to the center of the living room. "Master Psychic, get off of the floor, man. Sit on a chair or something."
"Okay."
Efficiently, Viva patted her down. In one of her pants pockets, she had a knife. In the inside coat pocket, she had a pistol. "Beretta 9mm." Viva stated, as if it mattered. He also found a few extra magazines of ammo. "Where'd you get all this stuff?"
"I personally like feeling protected. Had it before the outbreak."
"What exactly happened?" Aus zombie asked. "These guys were in Yosemite, and I was here, in my home, when all of a sudden, people were pounding on my door, screaming for help."
"I don't really know. One night, I was sleeping happily in my apartment, the next night, zombies were everywhere. I don't think it started in the city of angels. I think it started up North."
"Harp went North." Awesomeo said. He looked disappointedly at everyone in the room.
"Don't give me that look, man. You said no, too." Viva called out Awesomeo.
"Yeah..." He looked down at his shoes.
"Well... Anyways..." I said, "Welcome."
"Thanks." Azlyn seemed happy. "I'm pretty tired, after a day of saving people. I think I'll go sleep in that bedroom over there. Night."
"Night." The rest of us spoke in unison.
HARPADARPA
RUN OVER GANGSTERS
There were three of them. As I got closer, I realized, Yep, they're carrying guns. This made me put the petal to the metal even harder. As I got close, one of them realized, and tried to dive out of the way, but it was too late. No, he was flung to the median of the freeway, where he got brained by the concrete. The other two went straight under. I looked in my back windshield, and one of them was still up and running. He sat up and aimed an AK at me, and shot once or twice, but I ducked down as I put it in reverse. He didn't survive twice.

I took out my revolver, and prepared to put one right between their eyes if they got up. The first one only had a dinky little pistol. As in, it might've been a pellet gun. The second one had the aforementioned AK, with a strap to go over my shoulder. The third one had a shotgun with another strap. The paint was a little scratched, but other than that, it all seemed in order. I got back into my car, and put the back of the seat down all the way, so that my two guns on my back wouldn't dig into my skin. The pellet gun was thrown in the back seat. Just in case I needed it.
A little more driving, and I was in central California. Thinking over my plan again. Did I say Huntington before? No, I meant Farmington. Of course I meant Farmington.
Then I heard a noise. A chkchkchkchewwwwww And the solar powered Prius shut off. I looked at the dash, and it showed an empty battery with a little sun symbol next to it. Fantastic. Now I gotta wait. I laid down, in hopes of hiding, rather than any actual want for sleep. Before long, a car drove up. He was about to just drive past me, like any other car on this freeway, but then he stopped. With all of my good guns out of reach, on my back and all, I reached for the pellet gun.
"Hey, dude. I see you in there. And I'm guessing that I have a better gun. If all you have is that kid's toy. I don't wanna fight you, man. My name is Raging. Raging Blades."
I quickly sat up and pulled the AK over my shoulder.
"Oh SHIT." He dropped his hunting rifle.
"What the fuck do you want?" I opened the door and stepped into the sun.
"Look, man, I just wanted to help you. I saw you in there and I figured you got nowhere to go. I'm *headed *somewhere."
"Where?"
"Maybe if you put the gun away, we'll talk. Look, mine's on the fucking floor."
