They're getting better on the release dates, apparently. This is the first time I've played an episode, came back to the forums 6 weeks later and they actually have a release date. I was expecting speculation, but no we got a physical date set. Sweet
the achievement will pop up but only the player can see them.
no friends can see them
and they don't show up on xbox.com
i'll be waiting a bit before i play.
if you play before the issue is fixed, then you have to redownload your profile and then replay the game. or wait for the issue to be fixed and then play... (assuming ep4 HAS the issue )
You're going to prevent yourself from playing the episode because your achievements aren't showing up publicly? Just play the episode the first chance you get, dude.

Sadly, I dealt with this problem when ep 3 launched. You have to delete your profile and redownload it and replay the episode for the achievements to stick with you.
Use a VPN to get past regional restrictions on your PS3. If your ISP is anything like mine, they're assholes who'll throttle your connection if they see you're using a console for online gameplay, so stopping that non sense with a VPN is another added perk. If all you want to do is get out of the regional restrictions so you can download your copy of Episode 4, spend a little while looking for a free VPN or one that'll give you a trial long enough to d/l what you need and nothing more.
Just posted to say thank you Telltale. It's nice that they realised the wait between episodes was a bit long and that they actually listened and did something about it. I feel that some of us from this community should also thank them just for putting in the effort of getting their next episode out to us sooner. :)

it's would be nice if that was true but imho / based on facts
telltale have different teams working on future episodes, building stuff ahead of time / all the time and then another team or part of them take that work and complete the episode needed/ next in line.
so with that in mind this sudden release means they've caught up from being hard at work during the time between episodes of twd/twau.. simple math really :)
but yeah lets all believe they suddenly pulled it out of their collective asses to please fans...but if that was true why not do that from the beginning ?

For Season 2 of TWD it still says I have 19/24 achievements. I have all 24 though...
