Picking up words/phrases/speech patters from The Walking Dead Game

  • "JESUS, ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!". Its usually a huge overreaction to something insignificant, so people who don't know what I'm doing often stare in disbelief at what a psycho I appear to be.

"YOU are NOT to be trusted." & "He/she/I would.. cease to function..."

"Get... out. GET THE FUCK OUTTA HERE!"

    "That's fuckin' stupid, Ben."

    "Heh... no."

    "Put the gun down, bitch!"

Looking back, a lot of those are pretty hostile. Sometimes when I tell people my name, I'll add "Charles, if you're fancy." even though my name isn't Chuck/Charlie or any variation.

  • I say "I'll pop you", in a joking manner of course, because of Michelle.

Shatbird. I use it to describe someone I REALLY don't like. OH and pissant.

  • I've used "Get the fuck over it" a few times.

  • That makes 100‰ |absolute| complete sense!

,Goosebumps= the book series by R.L. Stine?

  • Who says that?

I caught myself saying "Stay lucky" the other day. After I realized it, I almost cried.

  • today this shitbird tried to threaten me and when i walked away (making sure he could still here me) i pulled a Kenny and said "heh..fucker"

  • I also picked up a thing from Nick, where he uses a different voice when saying what someone else said, like when he was talking to clem in the cellar he says "And he was like (voice change) Nick were burnin' daylight. and then at the small shack across the bridge Nick says "look there probably talkin about me now (voice change) Luke hes becoming a danger to the group" xD

  • Funny, so right.

"JESUS ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?!" I occasionally have "..." moments too. Otherwise, not really. My normal Pennsylvania German accent drops the G's at the end of words anyway, so that doesn't really count.

Yeah, AutoCorrect didn't like that, apparently.

    It's Fuckin'.

  • After weighing my dialogue options more precisely, and with the timer running out, I say things like "Hmm" or "...".

  • I am from North Cackalacky or for outsiders North Carolina, so most of the vocabulary from the game I use! I tend to now say "Lift with your back Insert name here", "He/She/It will remember that.", "That/it/you're very urban." or while playing the game with my friend "JASON?!!"

  • Hehe, I see what you mean.... I attribute that to a subconscious reaction with all the shocks she's been through... Or something.

I'm not sure if there's even a difference :P But pretty much when you control her, the weird posture she has...

  • Most of times "..." and when someone is really annoying then " Get the FUCK OUTTA HERE".

  • Sometimes I speak like Luke or Kenny and rarely Nick.

  • I live in a non-english speaking country, so if I'll use TWD phrases, everyone will think I'm an idiot :(

  • Oh, but can't you say them in your own language? I'm sure they'd make pretty good comebacks.

  • They lost their charm (no Larry jokes please) and accent with translation.

ah, yeah, hard to have charm coming out of your ass then (sorry, couldn't resist)... Out of curiosity, what is your mother tongue, if you don't mind me asking?

  • Not a speech pattern but I've picked up an animation that gets reused a lot in Episode 1 & 2 where the male characters itch their right cheek. Maybe it's because of facial hair, but it's always the same side as that animation.

  • makin' or macon?

  • I added shitbird to my list of insults.

  • Everyone does say yep. I think the person is from another country lol

  • Ah! For a second, I thought the high-faultin' city folk didn't use it.

  • Whenever I see a boat I point at it and go "That is the most important thing in the world."

  • I now say "Reckon" and Precarious a lot.

  • My mother tongue is Russian, is that's what you're asking.

  • Yep, that's what I wanted to know. (fricking Ipad, hate that thing)
Ah, I see... But hey, at least you trust in Kenny, aka typical US redneck ;-)

My mother tongue is Russian, is that's what you're asking.

  • Here are some I actually used in real life.

"I will punch your eyes."-Eddie (Some guy was being annoying.)

"Heh no."-Lee (Somebody said something dumb)

"Good job... Good job!"-Kenny (I use this sarcastically)

  • Now I say Shitbird.

    Thank you Kenny

  • Whenever a friend of mine curses, I say "Swear," and they just look at me. xD

I actually thought that line was funny, to be honest. I'm not sure if it was meant to be but I still found it amusing.

  • dog shit group of cripple fucks

  • Iv'e been saying "ain't" a lot, and I quote the game without realizing it. And whenever it fits, I reference episode titles. Example: "Hey mom, I ate All That Remains of the potato chips!" "When's dinner I'm Starved...For Help" "I'm feeling lazy, I guess there's No Going Back for more food"
