Final Choice of Episode 5

So after everything has happened and you talk with Narissa, what did you guys do as she's walking away and the voices are circling in your head. Personally i chose to chase after her.

I didn't chase after her. If this choice was on the stats screen it probably look like this

You and 1.5% of players let Nerissa walk away

i chose togo after her but i didn't understand the options fully because Bigby never makes it clear about what he was thinking the things going through his head sound like a riddle to me and i can't solve it. I can't put the pieces together and its very frustrating.

  • I think that was the point of it. The ending to any good mystery will leave you mostly satisfied with the resolution but still guessing long after the credits have rolled.

Personally, I let her go because it felt like such a film noire thing to do and it brought everything full circle with the first episode.

  • I went after her because I had many questions, although I knew I would never hear the answers.

  • I let her go... Nerissa has basically been through hell and i thought that I should just let her go and let her move on from all this without chasing after her and making things difficult for her.

  • I went after her and I was so pissed when it cut to black anyway... If there's no season 2 I'll go mad

  • I probably will too because I can't stand not knowing the truth there must be a way to get answers there has to be a way. If telltale leave it like this I won't be alive much longer.

  • "You're lying, Morgan!"

  • Well can't you follow the comics? Im not saying that as an answer, just a question.

  • I chased after her, because at the time I didn't really get it. I read on a article the choice to go after her signifies if you are going to let her get away with lying (go and arrest/ question her) but I don't think thats it all. I think its a matter of if you want to solve the whole Faith/ Nerissa scene or are you happy enough that at the end of the day the bad guys lost.

I followed her since I obviously wanted to know what happened.

  • Ending completely went over your head, huh?

  • You have to follow her. Unless you're a fool who does anything for a pretty face. Oh wait, I forgot that the majority of players gave all their money to a prostitute in episode one for no reason. lmao

  • I considered it but then i thought since this is a prequel i doubt the comics would have answers. is Nerissa even in the comics?

Well can't you follow the comics? Im not saying that as an answer, just a question.

  • The comics won't provide answers for this, the game is set twenty years before the first issue. In fact some of the characters aren't even mentioned, let alone appear. Which is why some people, including me, are hoping for a second season. Telltale has barely scratched the Fables universe, there is a lot of potential and lore to explore.

  • Im hoping for a Sequel to this too for more answers and because i loved the game.

  • i didn't understand what it meant by follow her it depends on what Bigby's opinion is on the Faith/Nerissa mystery and if he figured out something that we didn't. it could mean to arrest her or to ask her about the truth. i assumed it meant to ask her about the truth so i went after her but since it black screened after that we'll never know unless there is a sequel.

  • ahhh than I do have a little bit more faith in a sequel. Thanks

  • True, it feels weird now knowing this was the last time(at least until Telltale confirms otherwise) that we saw our favorite chain-smoking sheriff with a short fuse. I'm pretty sure that if we will get another season, it won't be until after Tales from Borderlands and Game of Thrones are done. Unless Telltale announces another new project, which will be quite insane if you ask me...

Still, I'm already at peace with the idea of waiting quite some time. As long as there is another season being made, I will be happy. Then again, I will understand if they decide not to do one.

Im hoping for a Sequel to this too for more answers and because i loved the game.

  • I thought maybe she was Faith , or knows something important about Faith . So i tried to catch her :)

  • Oh definitely went after her, as she played me this whole time!

Nope... It didn't, I said "Nerissa" because I think it was Nerissa in episode 1 glamoured as Faith, So think before you assume things.

Ending completely went over your head, huh?

  • she didn't play bigby it was the only way she could help she couldn't just go up to him and tell him so the only other choice she had was to guide him to the answeres. it was with good intentions she didn't do anything bad to him.

It doesn't matter who you think it was, the point is that you were played by the individual either way. So you cutting her a break and acting like she is a victim makes no sense. Maybe you should take your own advice and do some thinking. lol

  • Good intentions but still played him.

I don't know why any player wouldn't chase after her.

i went after her but not to do something to her just to find out the truth thats what i thought the option meant anyway. what did you think the option to go after her meant?

  • What do you mean played? The Individual helped us through the whole case...Left the head on the doorstep, gave us hints where to go in the investigation.. She helped us more than anything. And what you are saying makes no sense at all.. she was a victim in all this.. trapped by the ribbons spell watched her friends die in front of her, So im pretty sure your the one who needs to "think"

  • La Noire?

What's the worst possible crime that Faith could have committed? Georgie killed the two women; Crooked Man gave the order. We know those two things for a fact. So at worst, all Faith did was disguise herself as another Fable to avoid getting murdered and manipulated Bigby into dealing with a crime syndicate he should have dealt with a long time ago.

  • Went after her cause i wanted answers. All this playing around she could at least be decent ant put all cards on the table for Bigby.

  • Meh i let her go, yes you were played but ultimately does it really matter, what more can she give you. Lets be real if we wanted to arrest someone for taking advantage of you we should arrest Snow lol. She meant no real harm, so i thought it best to just let her go. My character was in it for "Justice", justice was served if you brought the crooked man in and if Georgie met his fate. Wanting more was just being greedy haha

  • Did anyone force her into prostitution? No she was offered that line of work by the Crooked Man and took it. Keep playing the "white knight" though. Yes, every scumbag with a pretty face is a poor, poor victim.
