Poor Telltale, thinking just +17 play their games ... seriously, most playing TWD has between 12-19 at least for me. ( I have 14 years )
Anyway, i waiting for GOT, because i don't like much Bordelands. Seriously, Borderlands has nothing to do with Telltale.
OFF: Where are the Brazilians of the forum? I saw the mountains, and now they're gone '-'
If someone is able to understand and enjoy the type of games telltale puts out, I fail to see why age matters. The majority of the fanbase a… moreren't 12 year old kids screaming over everything.
Except when episode 2 wasn't coming out.
Many people complained about that.

Let's not overlook that the thread I linked to specifically ASKED for older gamers of Borderlands 2. This doesn't reflect the actual demographics, it's just an indication as to what people the new game could appeal to. It's interesting nonetheless!
I can't say I ever paid much attention to the demographics. For the most part, I only guessed. But I certainly didn't expect such a demograp… morehic for Borderlands. A lot of people are over 35 years(one of them is actually 72).
This also leads me to believe TFTB will attract quite a lot of fans, since I'm pretty sure a majority of them hoped to see a version of the game that focuses more on the story, rather than the FPS elements
Each game just gets its own forum. One forum never "replaces" another in the literal sense, but forums for current seasons generally tend to be more active as opposed to forums for older games.
However, if the question was meant to mean "will the Game of Thrones/Borderlands forums be positioned higher up in the forum hierarchy on the main page shortly before these games come out?", then the answer of course is yes.
Lol. "I have 14 years" It's "I am 14." I don't mean to be rude, it's just a tell-tale (get it?) sign you speak a romance language. (Eu tenho 14 anos/J'ai 14 ans/Yo tengo 14 anos) It's like an English speaker saying "Eu sou 14/Je suis 14/Yo soy 14."

I'm curious how those statistics were registered? Was it directly comparing S1E1 to S2E1, or the flow of things? I joined up just after S2E1 and already I've seen a couple of prominent members from them have left (or post extremely infrequently).
Between Season 1 and Season 2 of The Walking Dead, more than 90% of the then community left to be substituted by others for Season 2.
It's easy to verify the validity of this claim if you regularly take a look at member register dates.

Wow... I'm feel mature... I'm 25 and I think I'm one of the oldest people here...
That said, even when I was a little little kid, my parents would let me watch Terminator and Aliens (because Terminator 2 was relatively new then -_- Now I really feel dated...) Probably on cable though, so it would have been censored... Sure, at that age I can watch a guy get literally torn in half, but it's a bit much if he says 'fuck' too...
It is not only nonsense... it's also exactly the opposite of what will happen.
Judging from the last "how old are you" threads, more than… more 50% of the Telltale TWD forum fanbase are underage. Frankly, for a game that's meant to be played 17+ only, we can not call that ideal.
The Borderlands crowd could have a completely different and far far more diversivied age distribution.
Actually, I went on the Borderlands forums back when Borderlands 2 had that glitch that wiped your character. I was the only one really angry about it, and it was weird to see how mellow everyone is there. People were THANKING Gearbox for offering to fix the game? It isn't something I was doing, but why were these guys so chilled out? Like, damn.
Meanwhile, over at the Telltale community, we have people freaking the fuck out over OMG LEE DIED FUK U TELLTALE or IF MUH CLEM DIES I RIOT or WOW THIS PERSON IS SEXIST, ABLEIST, HOMOPHOBIC, AND RACIST BECAUSE THEY DON'T LIKE MY VIDEOGAME CHAR
In all honesty, the community looked a lot better than what we have here.

Mark my words, as soon as Tales From the Borderlands episode 1 arrives, people here are gonna be praising the game, wishing for the next episode as soon as possible, and overall comparing the game to TWD and TWAU.
What i said may sound like an exaggeration, but plenty of people were skeptical about TWD and TWAU when those games were first announced. And now look where we are.

I saw a dude with his legs blown off, and his guts hanging out, choking on his own blood. No one would give him that bullet. I think i'm the oldest here at 28.

EDIT: yeah i played wolf among us without reading the comics and I loved it it was my favorite telltale game. I am reading the comics now though(currently at issue 84.)

If your still in school, you a child to me.
And TWD fans are all perfect and reasonable. There's not a single one... you know, trying to make the game something it isn't and stuff. Nope.

Most of the forum drama is perpetuated by the kids of the forum, I grew up out of that high school drama YEARS AGo.

I don't think English is his first language.
Hmm ... is because I'm Brazilian. Anyway, I owe you satisfaction ^^
Does Highschool count? :P

Wait are they gonna replace TWD forum with Game of thrones?
Oh lol. There's probably going to be a lot more when the game comes out.
Calm your bed.

I thought I was the only highschooler on these forums. Yay

Our community has problems sure, but there are good people in it as well.
Me too!
Highfive for highschool
Damn.
xD
Me too. Or College. Not sure (I know what class I'm in, but not were that is in the American School System).
That's not the point I'm trying to make. Overall, it's pretty bad in comparison to most others that I've seen.
Well after walking dead is done i will be migrating over to the game of thrones board once it's up.
Also saying 12 year old borderlands fans is pretty harsh..after all I've seen alot of 12 year old walking dead game fans.

It's "a claim" - nothing more. I'm just looking at profiles a lot...

I'm gonna give it a chance, but I doubt that I will like it since I never played borderlands.
from what I've seen, most of borderland fanbase are those "pc master race" jack asses or tied along with the cod franchise and bf.
Well, have you ever read the Fables comics before TWAU?
Eitherway, i didn't but i still love TWAU.
Okay I see your point I guess.
EDIT: yeah i played wolf among us without reading the comics and I loved it it was my favorite telltale game. I am reading the comics now though(currently at issue 84.)
Borderlands? More like BOREDLANDS AMIRITE
