I played DA2 before Awakening, funny enough. And when I got around to playing Awakening... Awakening Anders was one of my favorite companions. They fucked Anders up so hard in DA2, I'm not convinced that DA2 Anders isn't some serial killer who murdered the real Anders and wears his skin around Kirkwall acting like a prick.

The hilarious/depressing thing is that Anders in Awakening is so different from Anders in DA2 that this theory may be plausible. I believe in it simply for teh lulz, and I'm more inclined to cut a face-wearing serial killer more slack than I would the actual Anders for the shit he pulled at the end of DA2.

Really? I fucking tore him to pieces with Elijah's advanced LAER, and I did it so fast I think I broke the game. Had to wonder around for five minutes looking for what to do because the objective marker was still on the pile of ashes that used to be Ulysses, and I looted everything from it.
