Hmm... There's really only one game that I bought and found incredibly underwhelming. And I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this, but here it goes. :P
I picked up Red Dead Redemption on sale last year after hearing constant praise for it... and I hated it. Didn't care about any of the characters and I hated the story. Like every story mission felt more like a side mission instead. Constantly helping out other people with tasks so they'd eventually help you. It just all progressed so slowly. Oddly enough, I found the actual side missions far more interesting than the main-story missions. The gameplay was alright, but it was also a tad glitchy. The lasso didn't even work half the time for me. So yeah. Glad I only payed $5 for that one!
The original (Red Dead Revolver) is a damn fun time. It's a lot more underrated, but PSN has it in their library. It's a bit more fast paced arcade like shoot 'em up, you can string together combos and unlock more weapons and power-ups etc.
It is a quite frustrating toward the end though, so be wary of that. But it's a good time for sure.
In my opinion regarding RD: Redemption however, it was a solid game 'till I beat it. Then there wasn't really anything of substance to keep me replaying like there was with RD: Revolver. But yeah, I'd check out Revolver if you're into something a bit lighter of a story and a bit more replay ability.

Yeah, it's a fun game and woefully overlooked. And you play as different characters too, each with their own power attacks and strengths. Besides the main character, you can play as a solider, a rancher, an Indian warrior, a British bounty hunter, etc.
I had a fun time, even if it takes some getting use to.
I find it a bit overrated because people are like "OMG THIS IS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANY OF TELLTALE'S GAMES AND IS THE BEST STORY IN GAMING RIGHT NOW". I know its their opinion and all so I'll respect it, but I just personally don't see it.

That's literally the only flaw of the game, Ellie saved my ass so many times in that game, jumped on the guys back, threw a brick at a guy right before he could shoot me allowing me to kill him, and the whole game and story just completely makes up for it.
And when it wasn't scripted it was hilarious.
I had so many instances where the enemies really, really should have seen her and killed her, but she just ran along by. It was amusing.
The Last Of Us and The Walking Dead Game are both great storytelling games, they are equal in terms of how much they make you feel. TLOU is amazing at doing it really subtle and getting you attached to the story and characters while TWD is amazing at putting you in these situations and making you panic and feeling a sense of regret.. The last choice of season 2 my heart rate was too high I swear..
