I'm pretty sure Gared will die. And it will be a sacrifice I think.

  • It is Game of Thrones. Everyone can die. So I am prepared if the worst happens.

Anyone else having a feeling that Asher/Rodrik will die in final battle against Whitehills?

  • Yeah it's Game of Thrones. Either you die or die, and I'm talking about main characters. :P
Jokes aside, I personally think it won't have a happy ending (if it's even possible to have one following the end of episode 5)

  • Well, it doesn't hurt to hope for a bittersweet ending, right?

  • I spent my entire time playing this game trying not to get (too) attached to any of the characters. If there's one thing the Game of Thrones does well, it's killing off (likeable) (major) characters.

(He actually did that with a cat in the books when he was younger, according to Cersei)

  • Wait, so there is a way he can cross the Wall and return to Ironrath (with the knowledge of the NG or whatever) without alerting the attention of the Nights Watch?

    He's hot

  • Whenever people look at him or real life (or his pre-GoT cameo in Batman Begins) the only thing they're going to think of will be: OMG that's Joffrey!

  • Its something that will hangover him for potentially the rest of his life - like what happened to Jake Lloyd from the Phantom Menace - people will always see him as and compare him to King Joffrey, its like Jack Gleeson as a person will be gone (not literally but in the public's perception).

  • Actually I think its already happening.
Its similar to an actor being type-cast - Jack Gleeson will now always be remembered for his iconic role as Joffrey, so much so people won't see him as a person but as the character he portrayed.

  • People are always commenting on what a nice guy Jack is and he's doing his own thing. Sure people will remember him for playing Jofferry but everyone knows he's more than that.

  • That's... a pretty optimistic outlook - that he'll escape the shadow of GoT and have people recognize him for his own achievements as Jack Gleeson and not as Joffrey.

Hey guys, is anyone curious about Frostfinger? I don't remember him in the show, so I think he's Telltale exclusive, but still exists within

I hope the North Grove is SOMETHING. I don't want Gared's story to be for nothing. It's been hyped since Episode 1.

  • I really think it does. The North Grove lies beyond the Wall. This raise the possibility of the Forrester to be a house almost as old as the Starks. I am not entirely wrong as the Maester told Ethan that 300 generation of Forrester lords stands behind him, that is about 7500 years or more.

Now in these 7500 years there must have been countless chances or dark times for the Forrester to have gotten extinct. They aren't the biggest house or a powerful one. Yet somehow the Forrester has managed to survive these thousands of years. The North Grove must have played a role in every dark period and save the house.
