  • Maybe i could have said another way

You could at least not ignore what i said

Eight people agreed with me that Game of Thrones was a good series, while only one person agreed with you that it wasn't. So how you can come to the conclusion you can make the same argument as me?

I made a post on reddit saying im not excited for a second season which 35 other people agreed with me 'I'm not right because people agree me with -- people agree with me because I'm right' there you go

Trying to imply it's due to bad taste

Your 1st reply was 'people with good taste' you did the exact same thing, also i don't understand why it is unnecessary to question something

Also saving either rodrik or asher results in 1 different scene. Both endings are almost identical. The royland / duncun choice only effects who the traitor is which was stupid. I mentioned Borderlands because it was my no1, you are the only one keeps bringing it up.

Yeah, it just irritates me people try to pass off -- "lulz game of thrones sukz, borderladns is betstz everyone knows it haahahah" as if it's established fact. Fully agreed by everyone

Never said anything like that, in fact the post acknowledges different opinions (probably too crudely) also never said GoT sucks or directly compared it to borderlands.

    There are so many contradictions

All you did was misrepresent what i said, complained that i'm surprised people thought it was good when i've only seen negative reactions to and said GoT was better than Borderrlands. But hey maybe if you try again you will find one.

    4. Wolf Among Us
    5. Walking Dead S1.
  • Agreed. I'm too much of a critique by nature when it comes to these things.

I LOVE Telltale, but I just can't give every series a 10/10 it just doesn't feel right.

    1. Game of thrones
    2. Walking dead
    3. Tales from the borderlands
    4. Wolf among us
    5. Minecraft story mode
  • Alright, so, I am playing it now and it is indeed great. I'll give it a total 9 even when I think it is a better game than twd. The only reason twd stays above is because of the feelings... Gamewise, TotB is better.

    You NEED to.

  • Yes. Everyone told me it was Telltale's best game, but I actually found it to be the worst. Not that I didn't like it, I did, but none of the characters interested me that much, there was no decisions that stood out as particularly difficult or memorable, and all in all, the excitement I felt playing a new Borderlands episode was just never as strong, as it was for the other games on my list.

    Just my opinion.

  • Well, it did a few times, but I play these games for compelling stories with interesting characters and difficult moral choices. I didn't find it in Tales.

Still, though, I get why so many people like it. It just didn't do anything for me personally, certainly not like the other Telltale titles did anyway.

Ok, ok, ok... I just finished TftB and I things have changed. To answer your questions:

1- What is your favorite episode:

Episode 1: Yeah, ok... A TTG...
Episode 2: Hey, that was nice, this thing is getting better
Episode 3: Wow! Are you kidding me?! This is awesome!
Episode 4: Can I play Episode 3 again?
Episode 5: No man, Episode 3 was abs.... WOW... Mind blown (not literally)... Is it finished? Not yet? Really? Do I get even more?!!

    Can I start all over?

Loader Bot is fantastic! (Bro fist)

    I'll stop to avoid spoilers...

I think I need to rethink my TTG ratings

What episode are you on? What's your favorite episode? How great is Loader Bot? Who do you ship? I have so many questions.

In light of new events (and finished games) I have to do a re-rate:

    1. Tales from the Borderlands - Solid 10/10
    2. The Walking Dead Season 1 - 8.5/10 (Sorry, but TftB just redefined what a 10 was for TTGs) :P
    3. The Walking Dead Season 2 - 8.5/10
    4. The Wold Among Us 8.0/10
    5. Game of Thrones - Coming up next (but it is not going to be higher than those guys before - I want consequences to my actions!!!!)
    6. The Walking Dead DLC - 400 Days - 2.5/10

    • Life is Strange
    1. The Wolf Among Us
    2. Walking Dead Season 1
    3. Tales from the Borderland
    4. Walking Dead Season 2
    5. Game of Thrones

Enjoyed them all. I would say The Wolf Among Us really stands out. Life is Strange is still the best though. Will likely never play Minecraft and pretty disappointed in the Batman series as I just don't really care that much about another Batman story in any form right now.

    1. The Walking Dead S1, no words to describe.
    2. The Wolf Among Us. If it was only longer, the choices were better and other story stuff but not many games let me read there books or comics bravo TTG that's why you are on two I'm realy impressed by this.
    3. Tales Of The Bordelands
    4. Back To The Future
    5. The Walking Dead Season 2 only enjoyed EP1 and EP2 and EP5 was okay but would've sucked if there was only one ending
  • Dammit... Wallace and Gromit... The one fucking game I haven't played. And I cant.

    Walking Dead Season 1
    The Wolf Among us
    Walking Dead Season 2
Not sure where to put GoT or Tales because they arnt finished yet"*

Damn, that was a really long time ago now. I almost feel like I cant truly list the order on how good they are.

The Holy Three: Walking Dead Season 1, The Wolf Among Us, Tales from the Borderlands

    Then I guess

    Walking Dead S2

    Game of Thrones

    and Minecraft Story Mode

  • 1 TFTB

    2 TWAU

    3 Game Of Thrones

    4 The Walking Dead

    5 Minecraft Story Mode

I dont really hate any of these except for Minecraft

  • The ones I played:

    1. Tales from the Borderlands

    2. The Walking Dead Season 1

    3. Game of Thrones

    4. Jurassic Park: The Game

    5. The Wolf Among Us

    6. The Walking Dead Season 2

  • 1: Walking dead season 1 10/10

    2: Game of Thrones 9/10

3: Tales of the Borderlands 8/10

    4: Wolf Among Us 6/10

    5: Walking Dead season 2 4.1/10

6: Law and Order: Legacies 2/10

  • They did not punish the player and told how terrible their choices are every 5 seconds(and that's what GoT did)

    Care to give an example?

There are more consequences than in any other Telltale game(e.g. The choice of Trust Jack/Fiona determines the majority of episodes 3 and 4.

Not as much as the Rodrik or Asher choice does, though.

People love to rant about GoT having the same ending. Even though there are many, many variations. "No matter what you do, you lose! This game sucks!" Yet, even though I trusted Jack, allied with Jack, and then ruled Hyperion with my arrogant renegade-esque Rhys, in the end he becomes this humble, good guy. In the end, Jack still betrays me (for no logical reason) and Rhys goes from die-hard Jack loyalist to shit-spitting hater. Because, you know, that's what the game wanted.

Which is fine and everything, these games have set stories, with set endings. It just bothers me Tales can get away with it, while GoT can't. Anyway, I still like Tales. I still think it's good. It's just the Telltale game I enjoyed least, is all.

I know, right? People are complaining about Game of Thrones having the same ending. While Tales From the Borderlands had the same ending, no one complainted about it. Hell, there aren't even any variations at the end of Tales, while in Game of Thrones, there are like five variations... Ugh, it just upsets me how people think that choices don't matter only because of the ending of ONE STORYLINE. No one even talked about Mira and Gared's storyline and that both of these characters have different endings in their storylines.

  • A drinking game- drink every time a character says that your actions will have consequences

I'm not sure that's really an adequate response to anything I asked or said :3

  • Be that as it may, choices do matter in GoT more than Borderlands.

And I defy anyone to prove otherwise.

I don't mean to cause trouble, but I see this notion thrown about so often, but never with any actual merit, or examples to back it up. So it just kinda irks me.

    3. Walking dead (season 1,2)
    4. Game of Thrones
    5. Borderlands
    6. -Minecraft sucks in my opinion
    1. Tales from the Borderlands (9/10)
The characters, the world, the humor, Handsome Jack. I went into this game series totally blind without knowledge of the previous Borderlands games, so I was rather surprised that I liked this so much. This game, by far, beats all the other Telltale video games' storytelling and graphics. Actually, should I really say graphics?? Their art style is very consistent. Let me say that the concept art and designs are better.

    2. Walking Dead (8/10)
This was my first, as well as a lot of other's first Telltale game, and I gotta say that Season 1 made me ball my eyes out. If you can get a whole audience to care for the wellbeing of a fictional character that was very well doomed from the start, you're doing something right. My only problems with this series is all the outtakes of Season 2 that wasn't included in the final product (Ex. Mike being one of the bandits that attacked Christa and Clementine but being changed to one of Clementine's protectors, which I find really funny because he ends up betraying her with Bonnie and Arvo.) Real shame. They had potential. Nevertheless, I still liked the one of the endings. (Wellington)

    3. The Wolf Among Us (7/10)
Not much to say about this series. It's the typical "We got a murderer on our hands" and we have our big, bad detective on the case. The difference was that it was Fables thrown in the mix. There weren't very much likable characters but I will say that I was on the edge of my seat to find out who really killed the girls. I didn't really get why Beast and Beauty would be like "Do what you have to do to get the Crooked Man" implying that they kinda want the Crooked Man dead but when it comes to trial time and you DO kill him, you're the bad guy?? Same with Snow chastising you for killing one of the Tweedle brothers. They had weapons. They were shooting. They were there on intent to kill Bigby but when Bigby defends himself, you get shit on. Kinda backspacing there, guys.

    4. Game of Thrones (6/10)
Same with Borderlands, I didn't know anything about Game of Thrones and I guess I can still say I don't know anything about it other than there's war. I was severely disappointed with how many of the Forresters deaths. Everything you did as Mira was pointless. You had to sacrifice one of the eldest brothers, which had a bunch of character development from start to finish, and not win the battle. They were always on about "The North Grove this, The North Grove that, The North Grove is REALLY important" but...I've failed to see why. I mean, unless they're going to show us in Season 2 but let's be honest here. What's the point? What is there left to protect? Almost every character you tried to save is dead or a slave to be a baby maker, aka Mira. I suppose it's staying true to the original series that anyone can die at any given point no matter how important they are.

    5. Back to the Future (5/10)
It was an okay game. There's no much to say about it.
