Now this is just a theory but what if telltale told us about the episode at the end of May and it was released early July? Job said it would be and I quote "Not long now! Stay tuned for news in the coming weeks". Today is the 13th so potentially , we could be getting more release info and screenshots in two weeks time.
Telltale DID have romance options. cough tales from the borderlands cough I think they might have romance options in mcsm. It IS a testing ground also, so.....
What about TWDG S3? There's supposed to be news in July at the San Diego ComicCon (I think it's ComicCon, I'm not sure.), and a possible release date in September...
Well one thing is for sure is that we can eliminate the 14th since that's when E3 Starts (I'm assuming they'll be going), so it could either be the 7th, 21st, or 28th. I'm leaning more on the 21st, but the 28th seems pretty accurate.

We have it down to three days - June 7th, June 21st, or June 28th, all of which are Tuesdays in June.
June 14th is the week of E3, so an episode release that week is definitely not happening.
It's because Tuesday in the business standard release day in North America. Doing a quick google search brings up this article which claims that all games release on a Tuesday due to the launch of the original Sonic the Hedgehog but it most likely has other reasons such as shipping times and sales.
To add on to what OzzyUK said, Tuesday is the day that the Playstation Network digital storefront updates. Telltale tries to keep their episode launches as close together as they can, so that is also when they launch the PC version which is more under Telltale's control. With recent releases, they've also tried to move up other platform releases to Tuesday as well.

Last time they used the word lengthy was for Game of Thrones Episode 1, which was like 2 hours, so that sounds pretty good to me.
