Alright if they were to watch sword Art they should stop after episode 13 as that's when everything turns to shit. At least they can watch a mediocre-ish weird shonen harem.
I like it! It kick ass and rocks. The farthest I got to was around Gajeel's first appearance but then I got preoccupied. I know bits of othe… morer parts to the story though. It just seems to focus more on ecchi now though, or is that because of all the Fairy Tail colour-filled panels I've seen on Deviant Art? Hmm...
Me too. The start was pretty cliche just like characters. But it's suffering every week now, I may be cray-cray but I like it that way. But we know most about Subaru and Rem, and I want to expand that hah.
I've read somewhere that the current length of Light Novel is like 3 times longer than Harry Potter and something like that but the author said this is only lkke halfway, so most likely season 2.
I'm pretty surprised at ReZero, I just expected some Groundhog Day weeaboo fantasy that I would watch because why not, but the brutality of … morethe latest episodes have really charmed me. Seeing things getting more and more hopeless is quite something, soon it will be time for this week's dose lol.
Poor Subaru, watching him going all more lunatic and making crazy speeches that make no sense to anyone else but to him. Tough stuff. During that torture episode I was just there mouth wide open and wondered what in the world was going on. The slothful fella is so annoying lol.
Oh damn, maybe they could keep the dying going on and have the worst nightmares happening in the last episode? Enjoy your wait for the next season! I think my inner sadist would love that.

I was confused af seeing that knowing there was still 12 episodes left. lol
What they should have done was stay in SOA and flesh out their characters and left that elf crap for season 2 or better yet all together.

Or had a proper climax to end the entire series instead of a second season of more of the same dribble. I mean seriously I didn't think an anime could become as popular as SAO and be as bad as it was and still get a second season.
they should stop after episode 13
For real tho xp

I thought it was LOL. It goes from GUNS Online style shooter MMO back to fantasy and swords in a insane hurry as if there was a massive fan back lash that forced them to revert back to what the end of season 1 was like. I only started watching it because they promised a unique spin to the fantasy MMO the first season was based in but it didn't take long for them to completely abandon that. lol
I wouldn't say it was bad, just highly overrated.
As far as the second season, I'm still hesitant on watching it. Even SOA's fans thought it was a downgrade.

It did have a emphasis on guns, for a while, but then went back to SAO instead of the MMO they were exploring at the beginning of the anime. I'm not sure if it ever went back being I stopped watching part way through what felt like a "Filler" story arch involving a new cast of characters on SAO... and the "Sniper" girl from the Gun MMO joined SAO as well as an archer just before that as well. Not going to explain the plot points on why this all came about. But over all it was enough to turn me off of the entire second season. I'm not even sure if Gundam Seed Destiny was this broken really, as despite it being BLEEPed up it didn't get side tracked, nor did it have filler story arch so quickly, (actually not at all on GSD.) Just a badly written story during the later half of GSD. lol
I guess all I can say I'm actually as disappointed with it as I was with Code Geass' second season which just felt like more of the same, even recycling much of the story from the first season, but with a much much larger cast than the first season, and introduction of more trope heavy generic characters to lure in specific type of fans with fan bait, a considerable amount of fan service. face palms at Code Geass's second Season literally ruined Geass for me. Not like it was nothing but a cheesy attempt to combine Death Note with Gundam Seed, but in the end didn't excel at anything that either Death Note or Gundam Seed excelled in. First season was quite nice, I actually ended up drawn into it very well, and was even getting worked up over it's climax. Then they ruined it when they had permission to make a second season, bleeped up the climax of season 1, and then spent much of season 2 basically recreating a similar scenario that season 1 built up to, just because they had to recycle a lot of the plot of season 1 just so they could make a season 2. Shovel ware in short.
This is the reason why I HATE these whole "Season" stuff. Anime was considerably better when they had a plan from the get go. Okay, we will make a 12 episode anime, or a 24 episode anime, or a 50 episode anime, and then went from there. This whole 12 episode or 25 episode season thing for anime that normally would of been 24-26 episodes or 40-50 episodes just because they're afraid it will not do well so try to play it safe with one short season, making a story that will fit in a single season, but then having to stretch that story out, or recycle it so they can make a second season when the anime proves successful..... FREAKEN sucks.
I guess I can say that at least Gundam Seed Destiny was a proper sequel, not a second season, still was made badly though. lol
Wait what really?! lol
I did hear that it had an emphasis on guns but to drop it that quickly? damn...
as if there was a massive fa… moren back lash that forced them to revert back
That or they just ran out of creativity so they just reverted back to what they were mildly familiar with. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
I've watched a lot of anime and particularly like dark and mysterious fantasy type. I've gotten half way through Pokémon, love Fairy Tail an… mored am up to date with both anime and manga. I've watched
* Deadman wonderland
* Tokyo ghoul
* Tokyo ESP
* The Seven deadly sins
* Sakamichi no apollon
* Wolf children
* Howls moving castle
* Noragami
* Spirited Away
* Grave of the fireflies
* And more
I plan on watching
* Bleach
* Naruto
* full metal alchemist
* Rave master
* No game no life
* Sword art online
* Pokémon and maybe Black butler
Is there anything else I should watch
I mean I don't have as much of an issue with seasons if they already planned a coherent story line before hand and not try to make crap up as they go just for padding. But they should go in full knowing that they don't have the luxury of inserting these side plots and at the same time fleshing out new character into just a 20+ episode season.
And just as I'm writing this I just found out that they're making SOA season 3...
I'm curious to see how much they can milk from this lol

I remember when I was a kid and I decided to watch School Days. I thought back then, this looks like a warm and funny anime.
Let's just say that anime gave me nightmares as a kid.
Gundam Reconguista in G was planned to have two seasons. The director Tomino wrote the story and built episodes expecting a two season anime. Gundam TV shows are always between 40-50 episodes, that was the expectation. But the anime didn't get very popular so they cut out the second season entirely relatively early on, causing him to cookie cut a story that had no real chance on fitting in 25 episodes after already wasting a lot of time on already finished episodes so they had really chop it up. I guess the art style combined with Tomino's old style of story telling just didn't appeal enough to viewers these days. His humor is old style, his puns are old. Story structure is just old school as well. Watched a critic video and the guy spent more time going "eh, huh, and hmm" than he did saying critical things, as he couldn't think of good reasons to dislike the anime, and did that for 7 minutes. He just didn't like it but oddly didn't know exactly why. lol
I remember when the first two episodes came out, people were crying/complaining, and saying they were horrible, while I was scratching my head like "why?" No different than say Zeta Gundam, or Turn A Gundam and everyone praises them. What makes that so bad now? shrugs

Fair enough, If Gundam shows are usually that long they should definitely be one whole series. At least he tried to make a complete story out of what he had instead of finishing the season with an unfinished plot.
I guess it's a matter preference, I assume there isn't as much interest in this old form of story telling.
That doesn't always work either though.

I've noticed thinking "such an episode" after the few latest ones, today's episode is no different. Rem is preeetty sweetie sweet here. And that's an understatement.
Comments
please do, but also watch Overlord and Log Horizon, and Gate
You forgot Devia- no scratch that, this should always stay forgotten!
What about Rule 34---
oh fuk, why did i say that

Yes. Finally I don't feel alone.
Fairy Tail has gotten very dark. In the manga one of the main characters got tortured for 3 straight issues.
Yes. Yes it has. And now fairy tail have a tiny bit of hope of defeating the spriggan, in the form of Gildarts
Yeah. I wonder what he did during the separation.

The dude eats his own fingers, beyoned creepy. But Rem is sweet. Too sweet. Not like she as in the beginning really haha.
They should stop the moment they realize it's a Harem anime with a mask on. lol
So, episode 7. pff. As soon as they gain a child is when they should drop it.
For real tho xp

So far (ep5) I am. It's pretty funny.
Not enough explosions to be a vietnam flashback.
Moe Moe II was a brutally devastating conflict. We shell never forget, even in our sleep. (Oh PS mild spoilers) hehe
Duped da comment again llool
Watch the first season of Sword Art Online only, Unless you like sexism and character degrading.
