Your home town- Something you love, something you hate.
Without giving too much away about your specific location for obvious reasons tell me what you love and hate about where you come from.

I love the birds and, well... all the animals, but I hate the Spiders... Just... Ugh.
I love that people are open minded it doesn't matter how you look dress or act no one gives two shits. the area is considered rough so i can play black metal as loud as i want all night and no one complains.
I hate the violence and i fucking hate people using my doorway as a bathroom
As someone whose moved from pillar to post for the entirety of my life, I'm always a bit envious of people who've lived in the same place throughout theirs.
You fuckers are lucky.
There got to be good things and bad things about travelling...
"It makes you more worldly."
That's just a clever way of saying, "well, at least you've seen more shit than other people." Other than that, there aren't many people you can keep up with because more often than not, you'll only know most of the friends you make for roughly a year.
I'm actually working on funding my own place so that I can station myself.
Pros - We have In N Out.
Cons - We're in a drought, it's hot as hell, almost everyone is a materialistic asshat, and I'm trapped in my house because I can't take a step outside without suffocating on dust and choking on the air pollution.
Pros: Good school system. People are decent. Place could be rather idyllic.
Cons: Smelled like manure all spring. Lived in housing development hell in the middle of nowhere and with no sense of community. Took forever to get to anything.
omelette fromage baguette
Pros:
Cons: Taxes are high, the people are assholes, school system sucks, the town lake is polluted so people can't go swimming in it, and there's nothing to do.
Pros : Clean air & nice nature I guess
Cons : needs to update lol
Pros: Nice nature and lots of "free space".
Cons: Air pollution and 24/7 traffics.
Pros: beautiful river nearby (goes together with an awesome riverfront), important role in the country, rich history, big and modern city, lots of pretty places
Cons: hot and dusty summer, dirty streets, contaminated air
Pros : It has a beach, People don't poke their noses in others' affairs (usually), No sugar ants here!
Cons : It's hot and humid AS HELL!
I like how clean it is. People are also fairly open-minded minus the occasional snob racist here or there.
I hated the drug problem and based on what I read on Facebook these days: I'm glad I got out.
I suffer the same fate, but there's one town in particular that really resonates with me as "home".
well i grew in the country. it use be a mineing town but people moved away after the gold run out. i love the location nature and animals but the people werent friendly. that can be said by most ghost towns. i dont live there any more i currently live in the city.
I like the many different types of entertainment that we have here. What I don't like is the overcrowding, and I don't like the cutthroat attitude of the people who live here.
I know things that I don't necessarily care for are the blistering hot summers that we have here. Temperatures can get up easily to 120 degrees, and it's very difficult to go outside and do anything in those types of conditions
Lot of times I just like to get out of the city and go hiking, or go fishing, or go do something of that nature. And quite honestly I feel more of the home out in the wilderness, then I do anywhere else.
Pros: The strip's street performers, had no idea they permitted it until recently, then again I haven't been to the strip in years. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
Decent weather for most of the year at least.
Cons: Awful drivers,North Las Vegas.
I'm reading too fast and saw that as "The street's strip performers" at first.
I love that it is safe and nice.
I hate the fact that if you do a single thing wrong, people will make embarrass you. And if you do something right, the whole country follows you. In short, I hate it that people cant have their own opinions but are just followers
Pro: I know some good people here
Cons: Everybody smokes weed in public (if you're like me you hate the smell) and seasons are unpredictable (Winter in morning, Summer in afternoon)
Haha While I was writing that, in the back of my mind I knew someone probably would. xp
Love: The quietness.
Hate: The large amounts of stoners that moved here and made the housing market turn to shit just because pot is legal in my state.
Where I live everyone smokes weed in puplic, in the park, in the pub, walking down the road in shop doorways its why I like it here :P
Im imagining something along the lines of the hills have eyes.
yeah no nothing like that its just that they minded their own businesses and don't take kindly to people walk past their house or land. if you pissed them off they get right in your face about it. they weren't pleasant at all.
Samara
Pros: It has a lot of good childhood memories and I feel like a kid again every time I pass through
Cons: Fucking dumbass rednecks
Pros: my house
Cons: chavs, shit area, shit town, roadworks 24/7, bad reputation, bad school, the people, shops opening and closing within a week, vandalism etc etc etc
Pros: getting good results after an examination ;-;
Cons: rapists. Retarded people who won't keep their mouth shut. People telling me what to do. I'm too soft-hearted.
I live near the beach, so it's not too bad. The view is nice, temp is amazing and there is always something to do. Plus, the night life is phenomenal! The only cons I have so far is the cost of living near the coast. It's very expensive and you either need to have a GOOD job, live with several people or reside in a low income apartment complex.
But beside that, I love my city.
Stoner migration has caused a big spike in homeless in Colorado. Pretty disturbing stuff.
Impetus to move + no rent controls is a deadly combination.
I hated Vegas when I went. No offense.
It's not for everyone. ¯_(ツ)_/¯
