I haven't seen much Futurama or Star Trek, so I don't know about Bender and Data.
Dog is pretty awesome.
I also like Bishop(Aliens), Roy(Blade Runner), GLaDOS, T-1000, Roberto(Futurama).
LOADERBOT!!!
SPOILER
I bawled like a baby during the finale and it appeared like he died.
The iron giant was a favorite as a kid.
...and obviously Loaderbot and Gortys.
Loaderbot, easily.
How can you not love them?
Codsworth
Clear!
Can I say Mr. Robot?
haha. Anyhow, I'd put Gortys and Wheatley(Portal 2) at the top of my list.
Every robot is shit stank compared to the only robot that has effectively made everyone cry like a punk-bitch.
Nick Valentine
Can confirm. I crie everytim
My Job was to Destroy the Earth, and all of Humanity. But a Bump on my head allowed me to learn what Friendship was, and Friendship is the Greatest Power in the Entire Galaxy.
Translated from Iron Giant when he says "You Stay, I Go." .... "Suuuupeeeer Man"
Fisto
he was pretty entertaining
Loader Bot (Tales from the Borderlands) and Wheatley (Portal 2)
Bender Bending Rodriguez
Nick is kind of cheating, he is a human in a robot body.
HK47? =D
SUPER FIGHTING ROBOT
MEGURMAN!
Seriously, Mega Man, and his poor abused younger brother X
Ditto Iron Giant
And Wall-E. I'm sure I'll think of others.
Didn't get that
Well, more like a robot with a human's personality and memories imprinted onto his brain.
Obviously it's this masterfully crafted gem of a character:
Words cannot describe how many tears this work of art has made me shed. I would recommend this movie, first of all, to anyone that wishes to glean wisdom. If you would like to discover the meaning of life, of course Foodfight itself is a great place to start, but this glorious robot is beaten by no other. However, because the gloriously crafted plot-twist in this tale made a few alterations, many now consider his wisdom false. Nonetheless, he remains in our hearts as the robot we knew and loved.
HK47 was a robot parody of Bender from the game KOTOR. What if Bender was an Assassination Droid, how would he behave? That is what HK47 is.
I haven't seen The Iron Giant, but I keep hearing how great it is, guess I should see it.
I never became a huge fan of Star Wars, but I definately think the good movies (episode 4,5,6,7) are great.
I haven't played Portal 2 yet, but I plan to as soon as I have finished Half Life 2 episode 2! I've heard that Wheatley is really good.
It's surprisingly deep for a children's movie, delving into themes such as the ability to choose morality and what happens to a living soul after death. Very tearjerking and one of my favorite animated movies. Brad Bird makes good animated movies though, he also directed The Incredibles.
Oh, he is. Stephen Merchant nails the comedic moments as him. He's fun to have around.
Thanks!
Clembot. rip
My top 5 favorites
Some honorable mentions would be GlaDOS, Wheatley, WALL-E, Gortys and Loaderbot.
Iron Giant is just damn iconic. I still have that movie.
Other favourite robots would have to be Ultron (the MCU movie one, only Ultron I know in detail), Megabyte from ReBoot (technically he's a computer virus but his design is robotic), Data from Star Trek TNG, Bastion from Overwatch. Eighter from Dragon Ball, and Megatron (loved many of the Transformers but he's my top bot).
Can I give you a recommendation?
Watch Avengers: Earth's Mightiest Heroes if you get the time. Ultron is in that show, and he's pretty intimidating.
I'll see if I can watch it (although I'm not that into The Avengers). Thanks.
NVM brain messed up.
