I was just interested to see where everyone on this forum is located. I'd like to see how many different cultures and different people we have here. Or are y'all all from the USA xD. Don't know if there's already a thread about this but we'll see. So i'm from the netherlands, where are you from?

I’m from Rhode Island still located here I’ve tried to give other places a shot but nothing really did it for me. I guess home is where the heart is.
I'm from England, i live in city but it ain't nuthin special. Lookin to move up north thou, northern england is the best imo

I was born and raised in New York City for the first 20 years of my life. (I'm 35 now.) I currently live in Ohio.

We have great foods in our culture :
Kebab, steak tartar a la turca or çiğköfte, spicy turkish omlette, baklawa, chicken döner or meat döner, Turkish coffee(which is the best coffee I have ever drink, it will be more delicious if you drink it with chocolate) etc...
We have nice touristic places like Pamukkale travertines, Kapadokya, Safranbolu Houses, Basilica Cistern, Old Bazaar Galata Tower, Sultanahmet, Ayasofya, Sumela Monastery, Nemrut Mountain, Gülhane Park, Celsus Library and etc... Turkey is a touristic place that includes so many great places visit. You should definitely at least come one time and see it yourself.
Also, people are friendly and I know we have a bad reputation because of the government policies but still so many people come to Turkey as tourists and visit these places.
Western Canada. Not a lot going on here. We do get more use of the "U" key than the 'States.
USA's Selkirk mountain range. America's largest urban waterfall, the explosive Cascade volcanic range, Canada, the Rockies, and a massive crop-bearing basalt plateau are all on my doorstep.

I'm from Russia. My city is called Samara and you probably never heard of it, but its population is over a million. I do plan to move to Moscow though.
My country has incredibly rich culture, some fine artists, writers, musicians, ballet dancers, cinematographists and scientists. There's no other literature in the world like Russian literature, especially poetry. I'm proud of my country's history and its place in the world culture. Also we have peculiar food, unpredictable climate, extreme people and fascinating nature. Russia is an incredible mix between Europe and Asia.
My hometown isn't so famous but it's standing on the river Volga, the longest river in Europe. People call it "the heart of Russia" because our land is shaped like a heart. We're mostly known for our great contribution in the space exploration. Also Samara was known as "reserve capital" during WW2. If Moscow was conquered by nazis, we'd become the capital of entire USSR so the whole Soviet government moved to our city. We still have plenty of reminders, like bunkers built directly for Stalin. But thank goodness, Moscow won the fight.
Also Samara is one of the cities where the next World Football Cup will take place. Really excited for that

Germany. Born in Aachen (North Rhine-Westphalia), lived in Baden-Württemberg (near Lake Constance specifically) for most my life and moved to Greifswald about a year ago, which is in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. I've been about. And I'm going to be a complete stereotype for having bratwurst for lunch today and drinking beer in the evening.

Poland.
I live in the second biggest city in Lower Silesia, which is the southern-western part of Poland. It's full of forests, rivers and mountains, like tons of them. We also happen to have the Ksiaz Castle, which is more or less national heritage. To think about it, we have quite a few castles and monuments around.

When it snows, it looks amazing. Lots of tourists around, though, especially German and Czech.
Nottingham in England! Home of Robin Hood, Lace, DH Lawrence and the REAL Gotham City. And no I do not own a bow and arrow. (Though a Robin Hood Telltale game would be badass.)

Eastern Side of the United States, more specifically Virginia. It's Quite peaceful up here besides that crazy shit that happened in Charlottesville, the weather is nice and we have Virginia Beach!

I live in West Virginia. There's a lot of mountains, every town has at least one church, people are very friendly, and our coal based economy is going to be the death of us.

Glasgow, Scotland. I wish more People In Glasgow where nicer and actually look after they're city because right now It's like a dumping ground, I wish to move up north one day but don't have the balls to leave my family.

I was in Ireland last summer. Such a great country!
Lancaster County, Pennsylvania.
Lots of farms, antiques and religious folks (particularly Amish and Mennonite). Our Walmart had a stable for horse-drawn buggies and you often see them on the road. People are skeptical of change, but the idyll is slowly being swallowed by tacky housing developments and strip malls.
UK, England.
It's not perfect, but I've grown to really appreciate the culture and how our style of comedy reflects how most Brits perceive the world. As of right now, I can't think of anywhere else I would rather live.
