Most favourite: Aasim
He is pragmatic, introverted, practical, and always(?) thinking long-term. It's unfortunate that he is a minor character and I want to know more about him before really decide whether he is my favourite or not.
2nd: Tennessee
He is kind, thankful, and positive-minded. In the zombie apocalypse, I really like for him to be around, he can improve my mood and possibly also the group.
Least favourites: Omar, Mitch, Willy
There is just not enough information about them, really. Omar seems like a good chef, Mitch is good at sharpening, and Willy can be described as "strange kid" but seems to be nice. That's it...
Louis and his goofy personality, he seems like the one character there that can have a bit of fun, and for once in a while playing twd, I laughed at his dialogue! Although at the same time he comes off a little irresponsible haha. Close second would probably be Tenn, he seems like a wise kid, I really liked the scene were he's telling clem why he drew the walkers in his picture..I just hope that scene also wasn't foreshadowing by drawing clem & Aj in the "happy place"..
Expecting that with Ruby in particular, as well as Assim.
@Suzy222 I agree with you on the whole Violet situation. When she was first introduced, I honestly thought she was being set up as Clem's rival. Not a fan, but maybe she will grow on me?
Yeah, it did look like Louis was feeding the idea for a sec.
Defintley Louis. I wish to learn more about Omar though, he seems like an interesting character even though we know virtually nothing about … morehim. What would be cool is like one of the secondary characters become a great primary character in the later episodes.
Marlon despite being dead, Violet and Louis. Hope the rest of the characters get more screen time. I just wanted to say that they seem far more fleshed out than the ones in Season 2 and the one that shall not be named
Primarily, it comes down to the fact that we've gotten so many collective new characters in one episode compared to before and it kinda shows when you step back to look at it objectively.
I realize that having full stories, extra information, and years of looking into them is also a factor, but I'm tryin to downplay that for the time being.
Still, no one besides Marlon for obvious reasons and maybe AJ really comes across as a fully realized character and some of them kinda clock into 2d territory. Including at least one of our mains, depending on who you ask.
Nonetheless, I prefer to look at the cast in it's own vacuum and leave the door open for what the final three episodes will have in store.
I liked all of them, and I liked Marlon a lot, too.
He was clearly a scared and broken kid and genuinely cared and tried to step up for the people there. Any choice he could have made in that situation would have been fucked up.
Violet's my favorite. The way marlon was talking to clem when they first met made me go yeah okay I don't like you already. And then after w… morehat marlon did to brody I immediately hated him. I don't hate louis I just don't care about him. I dislike his approach towards clem in general but I especially didn't like his fast approach towards clem when he met her. I think he's arrogant and condescending. And when louis told violet to do better I wanted to slug him in the face. He clearly was trying to start something between clem and violet and was talking down to violet in the process.
Thank you so much, I also hate the Violet and Clem ship, it's nothing new romance cliche where Violet magically starts interacting with Clementine just because it's Clementine(and that cliche was rather obvious but apparently it deluded so many people in thinking its some kind of "chemistry, specialty" lol), when in fact they have nothing in common really, Violet is an internally hopeless pessimist("Who do you think is gonna die first?"), while Clementine is hopeful and positive, and she needs someone like that, which is of course Louis.
AJ is my fav so far but he’s technically not a new character. My favorite would have to Louis, it was originally Marlon (but we all know wha… moret happened to him). I personally am not a fan of Violet that much at all, a bit to “edgy” and she reminds of LIS. I also completely hate the Violet and Clem ship. Louis is awesome, he reminds of Omid (one of my fav characters) and I completely agree with his outlook on focusing on the present instead of always thinking about the future. It’s funny because I thought I was gonna hate him the most before the game came out.
Um, he killed Marlon without reason. Yeah Marlon did some really unpardonable things, but AJ shooting him was so uncalled for. If I could hop in the game and whoop AJ's ass, I would.
Not immediately. Just when he started singing, every time he flirted with clem, and when he told violet to be better. To me he's not teasing. He's just being obnoxious, moving too quickly, and was a douche.
We don't really know anyone else. Although Willy is cute, I like Ruby's looks and Omar's chill personality. Brody was outright annoying and I only feel bad for her death. I just hope we'll get to explore other characters more.
Well, it was Marlon up until the ending lol. Definitely wasn't expecting to like him as much as I did, but mullet or no, he won me over. Louis was about as annoying as I expected, Violet I'm still not sure about, and I really haven't see enough of the rest of them to make a call.

Louis is absolutely precious. I couldn't keep the smile off my face when he started singing.

Momma spank!
Uh, I wouldn't go that far, but that's your read.
Found myself really liking Louis and Aasim
Louis he's so funny
And why is that
Best Boy Award goes to Louis
Best Girl Award goes to Violet.
But we already knew that.
Lol

Violet and willy
Louis, Violet and Tenn!
Wonder how long it'll take them to die off in the next 3.
Louis the best!
Louis is just teasing around why would you want to slap him immediately lol
Imagine if all of the shipping hype on this forum ends up with Violet or Louis dying before anything romantic even happens

I like his character not him personally, you have to differentiate the two
Im not surprised Louis and Violet get the most votes. They had a lot more scenes than the other kids
Louis, Violet, Tenn and Aasim
i like these kids, but my favorite WAS Marlon. and i really like Violet too. Aasam, Loius and the rest are really okay too.
How is this even a question? Violet master race of course! Everyone needs a gorgeous and strong tsundere character!
I like her too, but she's far from strong
She's the only one who can keep up with Clementine's walker killing skills.
Not immediately. Just when he started singing, every time he flirted with clem, and when he told violet to be better. To me he's not teasing. He's just being obnoxious, moving too quickly, and was a douche.
I actually like all of them. But if I had to choose it would be Louis.
Most likely will happen or as soon as it happens.

I enjoy the new cast a lot but I'm going to contradict myself while writing this on the deck of S.S. ClemenLou.
Or like Gabe's case, dying so anything romantic can happen.
For better or worse?
Well, it was Marlon up until the ending lol. Definitely wasn't expecting to like him as much as I did, but mullet or no, he won me over. Louis was about as annoying as I expected, Violet I'm still not sure about, and I really haven't see enough of the rest of them to make a call.
Hard to decide. Most of the cast is pretty well-done. I'd say Marlon and Louis. Don't know how I feel about Violet yet.
