I've got Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight as a sidegame to play when I want some casual and quick entertainment, and this techno club remix of the main game's fantastic final battle theme popped up (with cool music-video visuals in the background).
Yep. Great movie. Very quotable. For me, I love recognizing all the local Toronto landmarks.
I own the first 3 comics, and they're great. The movie really recreated the art-style of the comic flashbacks and framing of certain scenes. Dialogue is pretty on point, too.
By the third book it really starts to deviate. The Vegan Ex plotline is waaaay longer and has much more explosive fights than in the film.
Have you checked out this cool animated prequel?
(Ah, wait. This is the listening thread. Lemme throw in my 2 cents.) Here's that cool song from that one scene.
Metric - Black Sheep
Carly Rae Jepsen -- Cry (Gumi vocaloid cover by Ctrl Ult Delete)
...I may have fallen into a vocaloid and virtual streamer rabbit hole the past few days. It keeps recommending me cute or interesting things of this variety.
I think I'm starting to like it, too.
With the official release of the iconic opening song to Tetris Effect, the full gorgeous soundtrack to this gorgeous game is finally freakin' available for purchase and streaming.
Alec Ramey - Silver Lining
I actually know the guy personally, I am good friends with him. I recommend his music, he is just starting out. But, he is really good. He has some other stuff, like covers and original songs.
(Not trying to be pushy, but I just felt like sharing it.)
Stumbled upon Poppy's videos on youtube and that led me to start listening to her discography, specifically her newest album I Disagree. It's actually a pretty nice and unique misture of soft rock and pop (which was quite unexpected for something I always dismissed as a joke youtube channel).
Cause reasons, I was listening to this song
and I realized that this song was sung by a woman. For all these years listening to it on speakers I heard it as the voice of a male. But today I used headphones and it revealed the softer details that belong to a female.
According to my YouTube recommendations, Helltaker, a free Steam puzzle game, has taken the internet by storm.
The main theme of the game is a real bop.
