Jurassic Park: Survival?

edited April 2011 in Jurassic Park
There was this game that was going to be released with JPIII called Jurassic Park: Survival, which was going to combine puzzles with action, all in the JP world. Sadly, due to bugdet cuts, the game was scrapped. I was supposed to be something like Trespasser, but improved... So it was really sad to see it go.
Anyone think we'll get something like that?

Let it be like Operation Genesis but a little different

What? A sim? Uhmm... I think TTG are aiming at creating a compelling character driven-story, so I think a sim is very very unlikely...

I seem to remember that the big deal with JP Trespasser was the physics based walking and interaction--

Isn't that the game where the dinosaurs walked by actually procedurally ambulating rather than relying on animation cycles?

I also remember the flurry of videos showing the arm getting stuck in the scenery and stretching across the levels. I'm thinking of the right game, eh?

You are indeed thinking of the right game, it was just way to ahead of it's time.

OG was good, dun know I just hope it will be better than some of the previous entries.

NBC Universal should get this game back on its feet. The demand is clearly there for new JP games, and if they finished this and gave it a good polish, it'd be a great seller on PSN/Xbox Live.
