This is not a duck.

I hope that clears up any confusion.

    That's not a duck it's a photo of a duck.

No it isn't! It's a collection of rust arranged in a pattern of digital bits on a hard drive somewhere, streamed across a network using a specific pattern of electrical impulses, processed through your network interface, CPU, and graphics processor, and converted by your monitor into photons through one of a number of possible technologies.

Now, if you printed it out, then it would be a photo of a duck.

This is not a duck. This is an abomination and a crime against the cinematic arts.

Why the duck are you all talking about ducks?

Even one of the Marx Brothers agrees with me!

This is a duck à l'orange. Basil Fawlty likes duck à l'orange... in his hair.

This is a duct. John McClane likes ducts... and has no hair.

I believe you are also supposed to cover your duck in the event of a nuclear attack.

The funny thing is that last night, after seeing the picture but before Davies linked the video, I got looped around to it via TV Tropes by way of deviantArt. Someone on dA mentioned Rule 63*, which I hadn't heard of, and when I looked it up, one entry linked me to Non-Mammal Mammaries, which directed me to Duck Tits. Guess it's a small internet.

I myself have seen the cosplay version of female Jack Sparrow. My eyes BURNED.

I don't think I'd want to subject myself to that.
