Click on the triangle drop down menu next to your avatar on the top bar. Then choose profile. Then choose settings. Now click on your gravatar avatar and then click on the big gravatar avatar that pops up. That should turn your forum avatar into your gravatar avatar.
And I agree, I think it's needlessly complicated. But, at least they let you have larger avatars now.
I'm having real trouble liking this new forum, I don't like the background, I don't like the way I have to add my avatar etc. I don't like I miss the old forums already
I don't like Gravatar at all. I tried it during the Prime Beta, but quickly realized that it uses the same Avatar on every site I use the same E-Mail Address on.
That's a major privacy Issue, which might enable people to Identify the user based on the Avatar, even if he uses a different public Nickname on various websites.
While that's not an issue to some people, It's a major setback for people who prefer pseudonymity and non-overlapping identities on the Internet.
I like the added style of the new forums. The beige makes everything a little bland-looking, though. I'm also not so sure about the overall structure. Seems... unintuitive to navigate. But I'll reserve judgment until I get better acquainted. One final thing: I find your lack of Chuck TWD stock avatars disturbing... I mean you have Glenn but not Chuck? Come on...

Why are comments that I have already seen and even scrolled to focus on with the new button still marked with "New Comment"? It doesn't exactly make it easy to see if a thread does in fact have any new comments.

I'm logging off for the day, I can't stand the new forum any longer, it makes me feel.... Angry for some strange reason. Maybe things will be better in the morning. Nah maybe I'll stay a bit longer.
Yeah, the mobile version is almost completely broken. And I'm usually browsing the forums with my phone half of the time I'm here. I hope they get a mobile version up and running soon.

Its great to finally get rid of the classics section so each game has their own section now. Its also good that each game has their own avatars for people to use instead of only Sam & Max and Strong Bad.I don't mind this comment system too much, On the other hand. Is there any chance of the background being changed or anything. Maybe to a picture of all of Telltale's characters or something. The background looks like something from TWD which is fine for the TWD thread but doesn't really fit for General Chat etc.

I think we'll get used to it eventually. It was needed since the old forum was breaking down, and the daily downtime for maintenance was gett… moreing worse. At least now, the forums will not have downtime. So when I come in here wanting to post at 3AM, I actually will be able to.

there is no increase yet. I hope their servers can handle the release date of their next big game.

You have to click on the post to make it no longer a "new comment".
EDIT: Never mind your comment is still new even if I commented on it.
It really reminds me of the Youtube comment section, and I am really not sure if that is a good thing or not.

I use my phone sometimes, and from now on it's only PC, like you said it is broken on phones.
I'm using an IPad, it sucks on here. Maybe I should use my computer.
