I recon in the future episodes that Clem will have flashbacks of what happened in the 16 months period gap after omids death, about Christas baby.

Moving pics are called "Gifs"
A gif can be found like any other image. I looked up "Ded gif" in google, went to images and found this. To make sure an image is a gif, you have to select it and view full image. If it moves, it's a gif. If not, it's a pic. Gifs can be posted like any image.
I can only guess that it died due to Christa's heavy loss and stress since the death of Omid. Clem does say when she's stitching her arm (or something similar) that 'Just do it the way Christa showed me' perhaps this has something to do with it?

I'm pretty sure Telltale is leaving it for a flashback for when Rebecca goes into labour in episode 3.
I assume Clem helped deliver Christa's baby, and she, being the only one with experience of that, has to help Rebecca. However, since Rebecca could easily die, they lock the two of them in a room so that they wouldn't all die.
Just a prediction, but it seems to fit well.

Was he a specialist of some kind, or would he have experience with child birth?
Makes me wonder whether Clem had to perform a cesarean. I mean, that would be horrific, and the chances of Christa surviving that are small. Especially without medical assistance.

I assume that the baby died, because he/she wasn't with them when they got attacked. Maybe the baby was stillborn, which brings up an interesting topic, walker babies. They should be relatively harmless as they don't have teeth, but having a walker baby inside the womb must be unpleasant experience to the mother.
I think the baby was a miscarriage.
It died because they did not have the proper tools for it.
Hmm...the sentence means Christa showed how to sewing to Clem. I also agree that chances are small, besides, even if they had some kind of anesthetics...if it was a Caesarean operation, Christa couldn't sewing herself and showed to Clem.

I'm wondering about something. What if the baby was kidnapped? I know, I know, it makes little sense. Why would some one want an extra mouth to feed? Just a possibility ... a tiny one at that.
The baby got eaten by walkers, cause babies cry and there's nothing you can do about that.
I am sure the lack of food didn't help.

The baby problably just died, like he was born already dead because of lack of nutrition protein and stuff in Christa's blood or he died after because they had no food to give him/her... Either way I'm guessing no one killed the baby. And about thef lashback The walking dead never worked with falshbacks it's about real life and consequences, in the present. Yhe most that can happen is that you know what happened to the baby and during the time lapses the same way you did about Lee's past, throught conversation with other people

Maybe the baby got fetal alcohol syndrome when Christa drank all the whiskey back in Episode 5. Of course, it could also be stillbirth/miscarriage.
i just imagined christa going "wow you cry, you stay here" and just leaving the baby there
