Actually, modding isn't illegal. Hacking into databases is illegal, and I think hacking online games is illegal, but that's completely different. Modding is frowned upon by Telltale, but not illegal.
SHHHH. If we can get people to follow those rules, this place'll be so much nicer...
Plus, he figured out how to make a checklist! See?… more EVERYONE'S learning!
Cough
Er... Yeah. Whatever was I thinking?
Heck, I'll add some more.
* Don't feed the trolls
* Don't insult other users - even if they are trolling.
* Don't reply to spambots
* Don't complain about not getting the next episode of a game once it has been more than a month since last episode.
* Keep use of memes/gifs/YouTube video responses to a minimum
* Don't discuss banned users - even if they were trolls.
* Don't spam the forums with 30 alternate accounts if you get banned.
These are also great steps for making this community a better pla- uh, I mean becoming a Mod!
Well, you will be glad to hear that replying to spambots is "living on the edge" so to speak. Usually a mod sees a spam thread, clicks on the name displayed under the thread title, bans the account eternally. That name is usually the spambot. But if someone replied to the spambot...
... accidents happen. No, seriously, they already did, honest to god mistakes.
I will never become a moderator then XD
* I feed trolls all the time
* replying to spambots is one of my favorite things to do
* I use … moreway to many gifs, youtube videos, and gifs... usually
* plus, I discuss banned users...
But still, I've never gotten negative feedback from other users...

That was the joke. I was going off of Darth's post.
Me: [In response to ohyoupoked me talking about following rules to become a mod] We… morell, it's not that intrinsically simple - but yeah, those steps help.

By illegal I mean not first party approved, not against the law.
