To be honest the only message we got was them urging us to play 400 Days, or get busy with something else. It sadly sounds like they want us to occupy ourselves with something else because it will still take a while before they release Episode Two.
I'm sorry to say but you will be keep on waiting even after Ep2 is released. Better get used to it.
....
Me? I set my expectations far, far ahead. I expect last episode plop out in before 2014 is done, anything before that is irrelevant. Wait is assured, release dates are not. :P
Hm... maybe it's the reason why I'm not howling at TTG like the most of the forumites.

So isses.
It's something and better than nothing. I'm happy enough to know we get a release date in a week, or so they implied. Maybe even the actual release in a week. Anyhow, cheers.

You know Telltale have released episodes very sudden before, right? For instance the Launch Trailer for Starved For Help arrived only hours before the episode itself on the same day. Nothing would surprise me at this point.

...The days when this place used to be a forum. On their free-time, Telltale devs used to come down and chat with us on a regular basis. Seems like such a long time ago now.
With a smaller fanbase and community this actually makes sense. For getting ideas and listening in on feedback.
But with a bigger fanbase, I'm not sure if it's the greatest idea anymore. Lot of bad ideas being tossed in around here too. I'd rather keep writers and those responsible for the arts, etc, professionally detached from the big fancrowd.
But sure, some updates on the progress would be nice to hear.

Do you guys think the quality of episode 2 will be affected by Telltale's workload? I only ask this because I felt ep. 2 of TWAU was really rushed, and the time waited did not equal what we got (Or on par with episode 1, but I think thats due to all the things they're working on). Since I've got nothing but a screenshot to work with, their latest game release is all I really can go on with regards to how well they will do A House Divided.

This will probably be how the following week looks like.
They revealed two screenshots from Smoke & Mirrors on January 28th, and the episode itself arrived on February 4th. That is seven days. If they follow this pattern after first revaling screenshots, then we should get A House Divided sometime very early next week.
About a trailer, for Smoke & Mirrors it arrived on January 30th, two days from when we got the screenshots. So, a trailer for A House Divided this Tuesday.
Official release dates for Smoke & Mirrors arrived on February 1st, two days after the trailer. So, if everything goes smooth we should also have the release dates for A House Divided this Thursday.
And finally we get a vine or two on Sunday before the launch. The vine for Smoke & Mirrors showed up two days before launch. Makes perfect sense for a February 25th launch, right?
Comments
Firstly, nobody official actually said that.
Secondly, that's not a Tuesday. It will probably be released either 25th or March.

Possible release dates before March: 18th, 20th, 25th, and 27th.

Really guys? Don't you even know how many days February has? o_O
Come on, Telltale didn't say a release date yet, you're just making false assumptions
Sadly, TellTale only ever release on Tuesdays. You're getting your hopes up for nothing.
Cute. That could easily be applied to you too.
Not really
It was just a joke dude. February ends on 28th. Phew.

I am happy we got a screenshot, but it wasn't really something special.
Yes, really.

well i think maybe they will release it tomorrow ..... i hope
Uh, doubt it.
What we might get is a date for the release but it would be too sudden for the game to plop out. Still, you can hope.
Uhm... yeah, it's... best to stay positive..?
I agree. But we have been waiting 63 days and seeing Luke, Clementine and a walker wasn't really something unexpected.
Indeed!

I vaguely remember something like that, yes.
Well, thanks. That reminder made my day a bit better. Not that it was bad to begin with. :P
How is a screenshot only making us more confused news? Telltale should really start to interact with the fans like they did before.
You get that it's not leap year.....
YEAH thats the spirits
It's not the screenshot, it's the little phrase right there;
"Stay tuned this week for more details on the upcoming episode!"
...
Hell, I'm hopeful.

It is possible that we won`t have a trailer , just BOOM!!! to have the episode released sometime this week ??

I'm seeing 3 Kennys, I'm definitely hallucinating now...
i think they will repair the lag problem
Trailers have arrived after the launch of episodes before, and could happen again, but doubtful.
HOLY SHIT MAN!

OH FUCKING HELL YEAH!!!!!
(by the way, is it just me or is the Walking Dead focusing on train tracks a lot lately, I mean look at AMC's season 4 episodes and poster and this)
So we're probably gonna enter a mine full of walkers; cool.
