The wait for the next half life is really annoying, I am also still waiting for any sort of update about a PC version of GTA V, Rockstar are staying quiet about it and are not confirming or denying that they are making it which is really annoying.

  • Yeah, that would really make them want to do you want.

I complained a lot myself but after being on forum for while learned moaning will not speed up the release and if it does and they take shortcuts have bugged and short episode also have understand their small company and do listen to customers feedback when creating the storys also a lot of fun on the forum between episodes but saying that 4 months is way to long hope its because of improving the episodes not taking on to many projects like game of thrones, bonderlands etc plus found company very nice and responsive to any email i send and mods very nice on the site. In conclusion only option is to wait can't rush perfection

Nicely said. Still dont think it would make a difference. Maybe all these years on the internet is making me jaded but I bet you no matter how pretty their words are, they'd still get people posting angry rants about the delays.

  • They definitely would still post angry rants about delays. And if there weren't any delays, the angry rants would be about something else. I suspect that is why ttg employees don't seem to have as big a presence in these forums as they did 5-6 years ago. But still, having a disclaimer that better represents the company's release schedules in the past couple years could at least give ttg something to point people to when they start complaining.

  • I don't mind it, should mean that the epsiodes will be better and have less bugs.
I'm happy they're making it, then I have something good to play instead of Lightning Returns :P

  • Really? That's your logic? Btw the opposite happened with TWAU 2

  • Getting sick of threads like these. Put up or grow up. Stop acting like whining babies about the delays.

  • Keep complaining, but it wont make next episode come out any faster. Telltale have never given details on why a game is delayed, and I think there are some good reasons for this. Try being patient, and you might find the wait easier.

  • and I'm sick of people on this forum being worse than the telltale facebook fans. Wait your horses and stop being so fucking impatient. Play other games. Do something else to occupy your time. You have a life dont you?
All I see on ANY post on telltale's facebook page is "GIVE US WALKING DEAD SEASON 2 Insert episode here" You paid for the season pass, you'll get it. Soon.

Now stop complaining, do you seriously think your rant is going to make telltale go "Oh gee. one forum user is whiny like the others, best increase our speed and lower the quality of our games just for him"
No. They wont. Seriously. Stop, you're not contributing anything by whining about something that irks all of us.
If you want to get it off your chest, complain to your friends about it. You're literately achieving nothing by whining here, or on facebook.

  • All this whining….

  • Grow up.

You grow up. You're first posts on this forum were about trying to get a refund because the episode has been delayed, and you tried to get other people to do so. When it was pointed out that your arguments were flawed, you ignored it and insulted anyone who has a different opinion to you.

People like you are the reason hardly anyone from Telltale come here anymore. Defending Telltale's decision to make a quality game over a rushed game does not make him, or anyone else, an apologist.

  • Random observation:

You wouldn't have thought that episode 1 of season 2 was supposedly badly written, amongst other things, would you? Seeing as it seems like everyone's clamoring for episode 2 to be released. (I get the impression a fair bit is trolling, but I'll ignore that)

I do get wanting the game that you paid for to be released though. But, while I agree Telltale could possibly keep people more informed, you knew that the whole game wouldn't be available upon release. You knew they'd make the episodes as they go. If you can't cut it, simply wait. And forcing them to rush a product out the door helps no-one, with the exception of those who take pride in saying 'Telltale's delivered a shoddy product'. You also have to remember that Telltale listens to feedback. Yes, things might not change too much based on feedback, but remember the battery joke in season 1's episode 2? That likely wouldn't have occurred without feedback, I wager. Again, it's a small thing, but I think that without the customer feedback, the games would be somewhat lesser. It's possible anyway.

  • So how WOULD you like us to act, Gangolas? If we're not permitted to criticize, are we at least allowed to post words? Or is that something you'll outlaw too?

I'm new here, though I expected if Tell Tale should have some estimates in stone. It's unbelievable they take 4 months to release The Wolf Among Us. People say "You want good game or a rushed game" Well Wolf Among Us, Ep 2 sucked. So it seems even giving them more time doesn't translate into a better game.

Others say, "Complain all you want, not listening" my right to voice is paid with my money I invested. I didn't think it would be rock solid a game would come out every 5 to 6 weeks. I thought we would have more communication, if it didn't. Reading the forums. The only reason they gave a release date last round, because reddit was ready to explode with unhappy customers.

It shouldn't be radio silent. There is just no excuse. I read they have about a hundred people working for them. In the time they take to praise people and gaming magazines on twitter. They could come on here. I hear so much about them wanting "Community Input" yet they are never online.

    It doesn't make any sense.

  • second ep of TWAU has already been released and many people think it sucked.

I'm surprised that they don't just finish all 5 episodes before releasing the season, and then release the episodes 4 weeks apart. No drama.
9 months in between seasons seems like plenty of time. I don't get it.

  • People wouldn't be complaining if they stuck to the 4-6 weeks.

The simple fact is this they say something then don't follow threw It's understandable if things get delayed ect. However at least let people know that by not letting people know what's going on just makes them feel like they were miss lead and lied too.

It feels allot like a bait and switch type of deal I personally won't be buying any other telltale game even if they're finished even if it's The walking dead 3.

The you pick the story is just a load of crap I've played through with every single choice it does change some of the chat but not much someone might help you get 1 zombie or not that's the difference not much. Even if you solo it at the end of 1 it changes nothing and isn't easyier or harder to do.

The story is ok. I dislike cliff hangers that's just annoying just like everything else they do it so they can come back years latter and make more money. Simply not being able to play to the end is anoying by it self waiting is anoying and the lack of information is anoying. In the end I simply vote with my wallet.

  • How about something more constructive than whining because TellTale doesn't meet YOUR time table. Complain once or twice if you must, but constantly every chance you get??

So how WOULD you like us to act, Gangolas? If we're not permitted to criticize, are we at least allowed to post words? Or is that something you'll outlaw too?
