Your top 10 favorite and most hated characters
Since Season 3 is coming out this fall, I thought we could remember the characters who we grew to love, or to hate. Anyway, to get this started my top 10 favorite characters are

It honestly killed me to make this list. I love all of my babies, but I had to leave some off.
Hated? I honestly don't hate any characters. There were a few I didn't like. Almost everyone was cool. I really didn't like this guy for being pretty one dimensional (A few others were, but he bothered me the most for some reason. They could've done something more):

Sheesh. There sure a lot of topics in this same vein.
I honestly don't feel all that strongly about many of the characters.
My favourite character is Bonnie. She seems to have complex motivations and a very human inner conflict between right and wrong. Telltale also did a good job of showing different facets of this character's personality: deceitful/remorseful, fragile/hardened, generous/selfish, etc.
I also liked and related to Lilly a lot.
Others I like include:
Doug (niche character, had depth), Shel (likable, "role model"), Stephanie (touching/sympathetic), and Walter (original, warm personality, felt real).
Likable characters that deserved more screen time/better writing/endings were:
Carley (she should have lasted another episode), Ben (redemption/coming of age/maturity arc?), the rest of the 400 Days protagonists (needed more than cameos/arguably better than the cabin group), Tavia (unexploited potential/mysterious), Christa (needed to see her bond more with Clem), Omid (sudden plot device death), Nick (teased redemption), Rebecca (needed fleshed out more beyond being the "pregnant woman"), and Sarah (too much work, no payoff to the player).
Characters that were ok/neutral to me:
Katjaa (Kenny's shadow), Chuck (just wasn't into it), Molly (Jane without a nice side, a bit of a "Mary Sue"), Vernon's group (they were at least sympathetic, but some individual backgrounds would have been nice), Alvin (no real role/importance to the story), Carlos (unlikable, died too soon), Luke (ok, "good guy", but needed depth), Sarita (I would have liked to see her play a larger role than existing to die and and consequently be the catalyst to Kenny's depression/downward spiral), Mike (why is this guy even in the game???)
Characters I dislike:
The Stranger, William Carver, Troy (mildly sympathetic/surprising when he seems to possibly care for Jane), Arvo, and Larry (all for obvious reasons)
I only hated the St. John family. ^see above
Characters I don't necessarily like but feel are well-written/have good attributes:
Kenny and Jane (I have a love/hate relationship with both of these characters)

For the top four, I like them as villains. Although I'm hesitant to call Norma a villain, but that's a whole different discussion entirely.
As for the bottom two, like I said, putting together a top ten list of my most disliked characters is hard, because the first guy on my list is literally the only character I hate. It took me like 20 minutes trying to think of 9 other people to put on that list. So there's not much of an argument for me to make, if I'm being honest. Also, Clive and Dee in particular were some of the last names I could think of to finish off the list, for what it's worth.

I wont do a list because I'm way too sick for that and instead i will categorise characters into their own sections.
Personal Favourite -:- Lily
The reason for her being my favourite is that she simply stood out to me as a character. She took the role of the hated leader which resulted in hate being direced her way for her harsh methods of proportioning food, leadership skills and decison making. I feel as though the hate towards her was sometimes irrational. Example of one is the most popular reason for hating her is her choice of shooting Carley/Dough. I feel as though The hate from Doug's hate is justifiable however on Carley's end it is not. After the whole St. Johns ordeal of her father dying, Mark getting chopped up like some animal, the wounds of her failing to protect the group as the leader and her father's passing is still too fresh. Then to found out that someone is giving away the supplies to bandits is stressful especially if they then come to attack. Carley's provoking behaviour towards Lilly was not justifiable in my opinion. Which eventually costed her, her life.
Sympathy Deserving -:- Ben
He made several mistakes when all he wanted to do was good. His intentions were never to hurt anybody but quite the opposite however instead of showing sympathy the players decided to hate him. I just wish TT stopped killing off so many characters like him to let them develop.
Bittersweet -:- Kenny
You either love this asshole or hate him and occasionally you get the people that don't mind him.
Most undeveloped -:- Carlos
I think he's the least developed character which entered the spotlight alongside Clementine and I honestly wish he had a chance but TT back at it again with rushing the plot and killing off a character unnecessarily
Hated -:- Bonnie
I found her questionable moral behaviour infuriating. One second she's licking Carver's ass and the other she's escaping with the group. I feel as though this woman has no boundaries in reality and will go as far as anything just to make sure her back is warm at night.
The Worst -:- St.Johns Family
They truly are the most vile and evil villians so far out of everyone, they seemed to know boundaries to go as far as removing limbs of other humans (keeping them alive as well) and to feed people that said meat. I think that they by default deserve the title but it's others opinion really.

actually Bonnie s more of a moral type of character she left Carver because he killed Reggie in cold blood.
And the only thing i dont like about her character is what they did in episode 5 with her hating clementine for no reason.
She did not believe Clementine when she had told Bonnie about what happened with Reggie until Carver confirmed. Also Bonnie had been involved with the robbing of the group when they were at the skii resort or whatever it was, after showing kindness to her. The only thing she could manage is a petty apology whilst trying to justify Carver's action after blood was spilt. I didn't trust her from the get go and if she ever shows up again, i will take the first chance which i get again to kill her.
I know I plug my relevant topic for this purpose already, but I'll go ahead and ask here: What exactly did you hate about those characters?
Yeah, Bonnie is definitely someone who really appreciates someone she sees as being great/influential/kind and so she tries to . For as one-note as he is to us, Bonnie has known him long enough to have some type of trust and faith in his skillz. As she says during the magazine loading scene, she tried telling herself it's better to try and fix what's broke than start all over, especially with the way things are. But him suddenly killing Reggie (and for a petty reason, too) ended up being a case of her realizing that he has gotten way out of control only after she confirmed that it was true, when there was no legitimate way justifying what he did or denying that he is sick.
Honestly, I kinda feel bad for her, if only because she's obviously so desperate for some form of solace that she thinks she has to gain someone else's approval, but it never really works out--not with Leland(who was a source of abandonment after what happened to Dee), not with Carver(who turned out to be a psychopathic control freak), not with Luke(who accepted Jane's offer and ended up taking the ice bucket challenge too seriously), and definitely not with Water(who she ended up having to betray and ended up being killed in response to Johnny's death). Time may tell if she and Mike will work out after what happened at the Unfinished House.
