"Weird Al" Yankovic is a band? I always thought that it's only Weird Al with his satirical songs, with no fixed set of band-member cast.

Anyway, here's my top 5 bands:

    1. Dream Theater
    2. Laputa
    3. Moi dix Mois
    4. Kagrra,
    5. Tower of Power

    1. Marilyn Manson
    2. Red Hot Chili Peppers (Mostly post-One Hot Minute. I have no interest in songs like "Sir Psycho Sexy" or "Catholic School Girls Rule". I hope they never go back to that, as it's so far beneath their talents. /massive"IMO"tag)
    3. Type O Negative (Post-Origin of the Feces. Peter's voice is too amazing to be constantly screaming)
    4. Within Temptation
    5. The Doors

I'm going to assume bands can also mean groups.

    1. Yes
    2. Rush
    3. Emerson, Lake & Palmer
    4. Beastie Boys
    5. OutKast
  • edited August 2009
Outkast is a stretch as a "band". Roots, sure, Beastie Boys maybe (some of their stuff at least), but Outkast?

Oh, so you mean rock band.

Well, I pretty much consider any musical group to be a band. Plus, I like the Beastie Boys and OutKast better than any other (rock) band I listen too, but I guess if I have to choose it's a tough call between Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Metric, Band of Horses, and Styx for those last two spots.

No, it doesn't have to be rock. I was just trying to find out peoples general music tastes.
