Anyone else feels their opinions are always in the minority?
As the title says.
I almost most of the time have different opinions from others. For one, let's talk about something that is relatable. I really like TT's Batman and its my fav TT game despite its technical flaws. I really hate Fallout, Just Cause and Saints Row games. Assassin's Creed Syndicate is my favourite of the series. I think Pizza Hut is better than Dominos. Attack on Titan is not a good anime.
I can name sooooo much more lol.

Resident Evil 7 is the best game of the whole franchise. Many people say Resident Evil 4 is the best but in my point of view, it's overrated (Not bad at all but too much praise than it deserves) because Leon tries too hard to look like a badass by using Karate moves, Lord Saddler is a discount Darth Sidious, Ashley makes this game a damsel in distress story instead of a science fiction story, this game is less scary only if you manage to buy a lot of ammo, Ada Wong stole a grappling hook from Batman etc.
Resident Evil 7 pretty much acted like the first three RE games which is why I liked it. It has the best story out of all the RE games though.
As a conservative on a college campus in Washington DC, yes.
Yes I also feel the same way on these forums for example I thought ANF was a good game hell I thought it was better than season 2. Also even though I’m more of a mutate telltale fan I am pretty exited for story mode 2 because the first one suprised me.
I think sometimes my opinions are in the minority...but I feel everyone has at least a couple opinions that's in the minority, and that's fine, as long as your opinion wouldn't harm anyone else.
Also, AoT didn't capture my interests either. Probably had to do with the fact that I was watching Death Note at the time too which was much better imo...so you're not alone there lol.
At the end of a Telltale choice-based game, does it always say things like, "You and 2% of others chose to...."?
What I think is really going on here is that people who hate things tend to be a lot louder than people who love things. So no matter what you like, you'll see the people hating it standing out a lot more than the people who liked it as you did.
I like Pizza Hut better than Domino's, too, but not enough to write two pages on it.
I felt that a couple of times actually.
In Batman , I didnt make peace with Catwoman in the end and I was in a super minority(%8)
In TWD season 1 , I shot the crazy woman in the woods and it was like %13 minority.
In TWD season 2 , I ended up with Kenny and it was like %12 minority.
I dont know a simple thing about DC, Marvel universes. My friends and even my mom follows them but I dont.
Its usually like "You and 35% of the players." The lowest I got was "You and 2% of the players did kept Catwoman as a friend."
I always feel terrible when my choices are in the minority in telltale games, lol.
Get out and never come back
'Round 'ere we like pizza without ta grease.
Minority or not, choices doesnt matter so much anymore. So, dont feel terrible
You’re treading on some thin ice my man...
Find the door.
Being a conservative student in any college makes you a minority, honestly.
I don't share the same political views as you necessarily, but holy shit I can't imagine being absolutely surrounded by a bunch of entitled whiners.
You have my condolences. Drown them out with Metallica.
I'm sorry, I gotta say it.
Pizza Hut is legit trash. If your pizza is saturated and soggy purely from the grease that was used to make it, you need to shut down your entire corporation and rethink your life.
I'm not usually a pizza-supremacist but I've never tasted a shittier pizza in my life.
My school isn't as bad as others (American University, also in DC, is much worse), but still, there are a lot more liberals than conservatives. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with that, we are each entitled to our own views, a person being conservative or liberal doesn't make them a bad person, and having both sides present does open up the potential for great discussion. That being said, it would be nice to have a few more people who share the same views as I do, especially since being conservative, especially on campuses, is increasingly becoming censored and frowned upon (example: UC Berkeley).
Yes, especially when it comes to The Wolf Among Us and Skyrim, as I think that both of them are overrated.
A couple times, yeah.
There a couple more, too, but these ones come off the top of my head first.
who hurt you
My taste buds. They're mean to me.
If it makes you feel better, I'm not much of a coffee person either.
Some coffee doesn't taste that great to me, but caffeine is a legal drug.
A drug that I need to scarcely bullshit my way through the day.
Me too.
Hence why I have, like, 5 6-packs of Canada Dry in my closet.
Coffee is like my ~l i f e~
Coffee is legit trash, sorry not sorry.
I'm the exact opposite. I love when my choices are in the minority because it means I'm going to have a much difference experience than most everyone else.
Though usually that just amounts to a character speaking a different line of dialogue or a character that could've died pops up in the background once in a while so it doesn't really matter anyways.
Hot chocolate is the bomb.
sOrRy NoT sOrRy
Couldn’t agree with you more I’ve literally only have had coffee like twice in my life.
Fine I'll go get RE7. But I always say RE2 is the best in the series just on sheer volume.
Especially in coffee!
how could you betray me like this my son
I'm sorry, but I just don't like him.
He got Hannah and Beth killed, needlessly kicked the shit out of Josh, waved a gun at Emily over paranoia over her bite and can practically kill her over nothing, and on top of that he had ridiculous plot armor.
I'm in the minority 80% of the time and I'm not even black. (was that a tasteless joke?)
But yeah, due to how critical and analytical I am compared to my piers I'm often in the minority with my opinions.
Dude why would you apologize lol. You're all good man, it's all opinions. I was just messin with ya.
So did everyone else that wasn't Beth and Josh
Look my friend, I don't know how high your tolerance for bullshit is but if my "friend" terrorized me and my friends in the woods at night over a stupid accident like a psychopath and then proceeded to laugh at me and antagonize me even after I said my girlfriend died I'd beat the shit out of him too.
This is a truthfully fair thing to dislike him over.
Yeah but I don't think plot armor is a flaw on a character per say. It's aggrivating but it's more a fault on the writing than the actual character. Plus Mike got a doggo man dogs are the best
Haha thanks.
Well, Sam backed out of the prank and tried to warn Hannah to not see Mike. And Chris was drunk with Josh. They weren't really to blame either.
Bullshit? Those people got his sisters killed! I'd want some payback too. And maybe Josh's prank was cruel, but at least he never directly got anyone killed. And also, I hate Ashley, who is two-faced, so I'm not too much of a bullshit tolerator. BTW, have you seen MatPat's Until Dawn Tragic Hero vid? It shows you that Josh really isn't that bad of a guy.
I'm not gonna lie; his screen time with Wolfie was kinda cute. But...I had a hard time liking him anywhere else.
You are literally irredeemable.
Wait a minute, there might be hope for you yet...
Awesome
Fair enough.
I wouldn't say they got his sisters killed. I've been pranked 100 times worse than Hannah was but I didn't do the stupid shit Hannah did. It's kind of her own fault. Granted of course, they aren't at all in the right for screwing her over like that, but the others aren't the direct cause of their deaths.
Yes but there are ways to get payback that aren't what Josh did. There will NEVER be a situation where what Josh did was acceptable in any way. Josh is a psychopath, he's psychologically broken and not thinking clearly. He's not the villain at all but he should not be defended for his actions.
Why yes, yes I have. I don't take it seriously though since I hate MatPat's content (if you want to know why it'll take me a long while to write all the reasons). Matthew made some good points with his theories, but bottom line is Josh is a legitimate deranged psychopath. He suffered a greatly traumatic event and it broke him. He's not a bad guy deep down, but he is broken. And broken people do stupid shit. I would know, I've been broken.
Yeah, I'll admit, running outside was kinda dumb on her part (still feel bad for her though). And yeah, maybe they aren't directly responsible, but...they were still kinda being asses about it.
Don't worry, I completely understand why, because I feel the same way. His content USED to be good. It used to be about science and math. Finding out how much armor would be worth in real life, finding out if a character has a mental illness. But now? They're either disguised ads or stupid FNaF theories that are nothing but speculation. #MakeGTGreatAgain
Yeah, exactly. He did some fucked up shit, but...he wasn't himself; he just lost it after his sisters died. That's why he's my favorite character: I can truly sympathize and relate with him over what happened with his sisters, and his disorder. Maybe if he just got proper help, he wouldn't have done what he did...
