Don't worry, I completely understand why, because I feel the same way. His content USED to be good. It used to be about science and math. Finding out how much armor would be worth in real life, finding out if a character has a mental illness
Yeah but here's the problem, an idea like Game Theory was fundamentally broken from the start. For sure, MatPat's videos used to be FAR more interesting because of the way they were and how they weren't cash grabs, but not only have his theories usually been wrong, but from the start, taking video games seriously and applying real world logic and math and such to a fictional universe not only kills the fun of the game, but it's unneccesary.
A real game theory should be about figuring out deeper story elements using the evidence given in the context of the universe. What's the canon ending to Silent Hill 2, the deeper symbolism behind Shadow of the Colossus, how the Four Knights of Gwyn came to be, etc. It shouldn't be about finding logic in a logicless universe, but instead finding hidden truths and messages. Similar to something Night Mind does.
But that's just an opinion. My Opinion. Thanks for reading. (insert shameless endroll ad)
Maybe if he just got proper help, he wouldn't have done what he did...
Maybe, but it's not very likely. Sometimes people are just beyond help, and Josh didn't strike me as the kind of guy who could get help. Josh is still my favorite character regardless due to his deep and interesting mental complex, but I don't think his actions are worthy of defense.
It's kind of her own fault. Granted of course, they aren't at all in the right for screwing her over like that, but the others aren't the di… morerect cause of their deaths.
Yeah, I'll admit, running outside was kinda dumb on her part (still feel bad for her though). And yeah, maybe they aren't directly responsible, but...they were still kinda being asses about it.
I don't take it seriously though since I hate MatPat's content (if you want to know why it'll take me a long while to write all the reasons).

I somewhat agree with you, although that makes me wonder why allot of the decisions they show at the end don't always have as big of an effect as other choices...
I use to think my anime opinions were minority, until I spoke to others. While it's not many, nice to hear others agree.
Neon Genesis Evangelion is one the greatest anime made. And I think to be a 'proper' anime fan, you have to experience this show. While that sounds like im some kind of elitist, I do think it's a show everyone should watch.
I just get tired of the
"I'm an anime fan" "Oh? What's your favourite?"
"I only watched Attack on Titan and Death Note"
These 2 arguably the most mainstream anime, despite my love for them both. (I'm from England and it's all I see in shops, so I see it a lot)
Also, I bloody love Assassins Creed! But Unity nearly killed the series for me, hated that game. I recently got Syndicate, was fun, so much better. But still yet to finish.
I wasn't actually telling anyone to buy this game. The main reason why I love RE7 is because Resident Evil Remake is my favourite one of the franchise. If you loved REmake, you sure will love RE7 as well.
I'm in the minority 80% of the time and I'm not even black. (was that a tasteless joke?)
But yeah, due to how critical and analytical I am compared to my piers I'm often in the minority with my opinions.
People all have different views, perceptions, and opinions on everything. Of course every-single-person would have their own individual opinions that are less than popular with the general consensus.
In games and media? Not really. I have pretty mainstream views, though I do have some odd opinions like preferring Doug to Carley and not caring much for the Witcher series.
I didn't think the Lego Batman Movie was that good. It wasn't awful, but I found it kinda bland and forgettable. I forgot what it was even about like an hour after I saw it.
I'm usually in the mainstream but there are some exceptions.
Wolf Among Us is not that great.
The Jungle Book (2016) is a below averag… moree forgettable film.
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2 is WAY better than Guardians of the Galaxy 1.
The Dark Knight Rises isn't very good.
I like Little Ceasers pizza a lot.
I prefer Daredevil over Batman.
Rogue One sucks.
Batman Forever is better than Batman Returns.
Family Guy was never good.
Ellie is better than Clementine.
Jak and Daxter is overrated.
Logan is good...just good.
That's all I got for now.

YOu know that RE2 is being remade as we speak right? I know you weren't telling anyone(least of all me) to buy the game. I was talking to the universe in general.

Dude get RE2 on the PSN or something you will not regret it. There are four scenarios and two mini games including one where you play as a block of tofu!

It might be on that PSNOW thing. I bought it on the PSN and it played on PS3 and on my PSP. But for some reason Sony didn't let it come across to PS4. Most likely to sell that PSNOW thing.

I'm with you on that one. It was a solid superhero film, but I think calling it "The Dark Knight of the X-Men series" is a bit much.
I'm an anarchist and firmly believe the future is going to be socialism or barbarism, so I tend to get it from all sides. Recent events are starting to change that though.
The Dark Knight and the X-Men film series aren't really in the same ball park IMO. It's like comparing apples to oranges. But if you had to back me into a corner and force me to choose, I guess I'd go with Days of Future Past just because I think it's the best X-Men movie.

Conservatives aren't really a minority, certainly not one that's being challenged in a significant way. Maybe in college towns and coastal enclaves, but not in society at large.

So basically...MatPat's content sucks, Josh did undefendable, fucked up shit but was just broken, and deep down was a good guy.
In my opinion yes.
I somewhat agree with you, although that makes me wonder why allot of the decisions they show at the end don't always have as big of an effect as other choices...
While I agree that it's not bad, it's nowhere near the best anime. This coming from someone who avidly reads the manga and buys them all XD

Now you've got me interested
From what I've seen most people love NGE.
Most of them aren't unpopular like Ellie, Rogue One and The Dark Knight Rises.
YOu know that RE2 is being remade as we speak right? I know you weren't telling anyone(least of all me) to buy the game. I was talking to the universe in general.
I know, I'm obviously looking forward to it since I loved REmake and I never played RE2.
Who gives a fuck what others think? You do you and don't change or be hurt cause people disagree with you.

YOU SLUT!
Which film would you consider the Dark Knight of the X-Men series? Just curious.
On here, definitely. Everywhere else? Not as much.
I'm an anarchist and firmly believe the future is going to be socialism or barbarism, so I tend to get it from all sides. Recent events are starting to change that though.

Caring about what others think of you is perfectly healthy and normal. It's only a problem if you become obsessed with it.
Days of Future Past is pretty good. I personally love X-Men 2 the most.
I dunno why but I thought you were going to say you were a hardcore conservative lmao
X-Men 2 is good. That's a close second favorite for me.
Conservatives aren't really a minority, certainly not one that's being challenged in a significant way. Maybe in college towns and coastal enclaves, but not in society at large.
Exactly like me.
Same here! Also, I thought the climbing was a massive downgrade compared to AC2. It just felt too fast and I never felt like I was in control.
Neither do I care much about Skyrim, Witcher series etc. They all feel the same.
true.
