I only get obsessive with a few things, and ghost hunting is one of them. I really want to find answers to see if there is in fact a beyond. That is my reasoning for it.

:D Just like everyone else I know who chases after ghosts. I guess the reason could be that simple and yet complex.

It's like some sort of appetite once you get a taste of it. My mouth can water for it even some times. :(

    paranormal activity

    ^

Have not yet seen it but it's supposebly the most horrifying ghost movie ever made. They say it left people crying in bathroom stalls and throwing up in hysteria. There's people who say they regret seeing it, that it changed their lives forever. Most important of all I'm being dead serious.

Oh, I must see it now!

Anyway, we don't have the whole "trick or treat" thing you have in the states. Until about 10 years ago no one even knew what it was, but as with all things american it found its way over here too. I remember people thinking me and my mum were crazy for carving pumpkins and showing them off to the neighbours. We usually only throw a big masquerade party with a minor horror theme to celebrate it. This year I'm going as Rorschach.

People truly believe that this movie is worth the hype, it's 2 years old and playing at select theaters, look it up...it might be near you but I warn you people are really convinced that this movie is horrifying.

Just be sure, I've seen lots of movies but people are as convinced for this as they originally were for the exerocist if not a multiplitude more.

Seems like it got some great reviews over at IMDB, and an honorable mention too. I've liked the exorcist for as long as I can remember, so I'll definitely go see it if it's available. I guess this is one of those movies that you really should see in a theater, not at home.

This movie somehow escaped my horror radar, but now I have to see it. I doubt it lives up to the hype, but I hope I'm wrong.

I'm going to watch some horror movies and eat some candy!

I try not to watch movies, like that...because most of it doesn't happen, but eh..I probably will.

It'd be awesome if Telltale put out some Max stencils for a Max-o-lantern this year.
    Just sayin... ;)

I've finally made my final decision on what I'm gonna be for Halloween!

I'm going to be a box with eye holes, and some doors so my hands could go through them and pick stuff up and what not.

I made the costume. I could show it to you, if you all want. :p

Maybe I should go as Santino.

I wonder if anyone is going as Sister Agnes, although it'd be kind of tough to hold that face for so long. Maybe they'd only hold it when people answer the door.

This year I'm going as a Ghostbuster. This costume is kinda odd for me though. I bought most of the props and worked on them somewhat. For the entire uniform and equipment, I put about 75% of my work and effort into it than my usual 90-100%. :/ People may not care, but to me, it seems a bit like cheating...

But then again... I didn't have that much time this year (due to the strain of extra work hours caused by layoffs at both my jobs) to make a costume from scratch. Also, I can always ask, "Did any of the other Ghostbusters make their own equipment other than Egon and Ray?" and then point to my name tag and say, "I'm not Egon or Ray." :P

I couldn't agree more. The supposed idea is that the old ghost busters will be in the movie but only as mentors. It could go either way...

I'll have pictures of my full completed suit by this Monday or so. I'm going to a cemetery screening of the first movie on Sunday. ^_^

But... How about this for the meantime?

They haven't finalized the script (almost though!) or named a cast other than the main three (Strangely, from interviews, it sounds like Ernie Hudson hasn't been contacted by the studio yet...), so I don't know how this is going to pan out. I just hope that if they do introduce new Ghostbusters, the old four will have more than a cameo... I think it would be funny to see the four worn out and old, still trying to catch ghosts. Then, the movie could delicately show them going into retirement and hiring new recruits for the job.

Hi, guys! Halloween is coming, and I don't know about you, but I'm pretty excited! My friend and I are trying to make costumes to go as Sam and Max. I wonder if anyone will recognize us.
Is anyone else dressing up as someone from Telltale Games? If not, that's fine, too. You can still share your costume. But people will probably point and laugh at you.
    Just kidding.
Okay, so discuss! Who/what are you going as this year, if you celebrate Halloween?

    I'm a going as the a grim a reaper!

    (again.)

If you are bored of it, spice it up then? Wear the robe and carry the scythe, but add a hawaiian lei and fake cocktail glass (you know the ones that look like they are full but not, you get them at joke stores). Grim on vacation! XD

    Creativity is your only limit. ;) And going to the occasional convention or two where there are many quirky people helps too! ^^;

I've got just about everything I need for my Sam costume. All I need is a hat, and my dad said he was going to get me one.
It's going to be weird having two girls dress as Sam and Max, but I think we can pull it off. ;)

I never went anywhere on Halloween. They don't really celebrate it in Romania :( No costumes, no nothing.

I wanna get out of this country.

I love Halloween but I don't go to parties and I'm 21 years old, I still may wear something around the house or be inspired to make something. I'll probably go ghost hunting instead. I believe in that sort of thing.

Definitely one of my favorite times of year last year I played Kindgom Heart's Halloween mission during the Holiday, good stuff.
