MI meets Jonathan Coulton adventure game

edited June 2013 in General Chat
On The Legendary Monkey Island FanArt thread there is a lot of really good art, and I was wondering if any one of the highly talented artists on here would be interested in joining a project I am working on that is best summed up as Monkey Island meets the music of Jonathan Coulton.

Jonathan is fully behind the idea, but I really need some artists that would like to work on a 2D graphic adventure game for little or no money. The game will be free to play, and no profit can be made.

If you'll make a "Stroller Town" in your adventure game with lots of cool babies, I'm down with that!

It says on your site you looking for people to do voices, I am all up for helping with voicing a char, or being a tester.

It looks like it's become episodic. And the first episode is out now. And it's free. :)

Not to be the bad guy here, but this is pretty much advertising (albeit for a free game), and we don't tend to allow that sort of thing on the forums.

I'm gonna leave this thread open since it's gotten the support of other mods, but please consider this a friendly reminder of the rules.

Yeah, I was a beta-tester for this. At least, technically. I applied and got to play a bit of it... but I didn't want to continue. It's pretty bad, for something FOUR YEARS in the making.

    ...ah. Yes. So it is.

    Um.

My last post seems kind of embarrassing now.

Nobody quoted you yet you can still remove it unnoticed.

You're a mod. Can't you make it so that it looks like someone other than Jennifer necroed the thread, make your own post say something cool and insightful and change Jake's post, so that it doesn't look like he's telling you guys off?

    I could. I won't, because I'm lazy, but I could.

He could do that, yes. But not without evidence to absolutely everyone, as the post would bear his "last edited by" mark.
