It's the C.O.P.S.
I was hoping it would be guessable I guess my characterisation wasn't that good?
I had the idea today. I was talking about cosplay with Giant Tope and mentioning the female characters. There was Sybil, Stinky and Myra, and then I said there was Carol too.
So I started working on them. Originally Carol was included but in my second version I removed her because she felt out of place.
1) I was out of non-lined paper
2) I don't have a scanner so it's a picture
3) It's supposed to be a preliminary sketch, but I'm feeling lazy.
If enough people like it maybe I'll work on the real thing
Yay! It's the C.O.P.S.! As people! It took a while for me to figure out, but then I noticed Bob! That business phone is always a giveaway. That, and I've been doing a bit of Human C.O.P.S. myself.
It seems to be a hit or miss, I've had people have a lot of trouble guessing who it was, and others getting it right away (my husband for instance, I only told him "it's a Sam & Max fanart" and he immediately went "oh, it's the COPS!").
I think I'll work on a final version then I'll get good paper and stuff. I like the composition of this picture so I don't think I'll add Carol, but I don't exclude the idea of making another one without Bluster and with Carol.
Still no blank paper (the store's far away so we don't usually go there for just one thing, and we went two days ago... So I don't know when we'll go again) but in the meantime I thought I could work on the characters individually.
I worked on Curt first. Here is my concept art:
If you can think of a spelling for his last name that you think is better, feel free to suggest!
I thought about it, and started a try but Inkscape can frustrate me a lot, since it's not about lines but shapes.
I did go over the first picture on gimp but, well, it doesn't look very good :P I'm satisfied though considering I did that with a mouse.
If you had trouble seeing the original, this might help (although I still prefer the original).

If you're using Windows, try tracing with MSPaint's curvy line tool. It's a lot easier and looks a lot better than doing it freehand.
My computer went from crashing several times per hour to not crashing at all, so the rest was pretty easy to get used to
