I feel at this point, telltale REALLY neeeds an original license.
Plus they have been hinting about a Scroggins whatever game(really need to check that out)
Is it strange I want a Sam and Max season 4 when seasone 3 isnt even completly out yet(nor have I finished episode 1)
And finally sbcg4ap2. Telltale has done 4 more games(I count the full seasons plus CSI not the episodes) and the brother chaps couldent have taken that long of a baby break.
RD, in my opinion, the Hitchhiker's Guide film was better than the books in some ways. The book was better overall because it was littered with philosophy and humour, but the film was better story-wise because the characters were actually well developed. God, I think Trillian had about three lines in the whole series of novels.
Lost.........................lost.......................lost. I love me some lost. Also, I just started reading Hitchhiker's Guide and that seems wonderful. With Steve Purcell Already being at Pixar, I couldn't imagine a Pixar game that hard to accomplish. Toy Story would be the best, but evern the worst Pixar movie *coughCarscough* is good. Maybe, and everyone who sees me keep bringing this up will understand my attachment to the idea, The Beatles. Something along the lines of Help, or a video game ideration of the 2012 version of Yellow Submarine.

At first I thought so too, but it has grown on me. Now I actually think Cars is as good as any other Pixar film, it even became one of my favourites...
This is lame, I guess, but I'd like to see a game based around this guy. It could be fun to come with stories for him. I guess you wouldn't make him able to talk, but react gleefully and excitedly wave his arms/fins when he sees something he likes. It's more like a mute Pixar character than anything. Yeah, this little dude could be a pretty cool adventure game character.
Something completely different: Gabriel Knight. I'd love to see that handled as an episodic series. Yes, given its dark nature, it would be very, very different compared to what Telltale usually works on, but who knows, maybe that would add to the appeal of them making it. I've been playing the first two games recently, and I can't help but think how cool it would be if a season of five or six episodes were made, with Gabriel tackling a different supernatural horror each episode, all linked by one Big Bad, before tackling it in the season finale. Now that I'd love to see!
I'm sure the licence is somehow available, seing that both the TV series and the movie weren't exactly successful, and creator Joss Whedon would probably hop in the boat.
The series was weird enough for Telltale, and although hilarious at times, the theme was generally very dark and moody. Getting the original actors to voice-act, however... that would be almost impossible.

Adam Baldwin would almost definitely do it. Every con that guy's gone to, he mentions either Firefly or Joss Whedon and how he'd like to do it again. Don't know about the others.
I think the whole Firefly team would love to do it, pretty much. Halo ODST was a mini Firefly reunion of sorts with the 4 main characters being Firefly alumni. But I'm not so sure it would work as a TT game. Doens't lend itself too well to point and clickery...
Same goes for Lost.
One that would work perfectly, though, is Terry Pratchett's Discworld series. We've already seen a couple entries as point and clickers waaaay back in the day, and it's got such a deep and varied universe to back it up that it'd be almost a perfect place to dive in.
Terry's only got a few years left in him before Alzheimers stops him writing novels, which is a complete tragedy, and after that point it'll be far more difficult to do (though maybe his daughter would like to be involved?).
Either way, it's something that should definitely be considered. You've got magic, the city police, assassins, thieves, vampires, werewolves, the XXXX continent (australia) and tons of humour. Perfect material for the TT guys to work with.
I don't think you guys have enough faith in Telltale to take a serious IP and make a game of it. I think Lost is extreamly accomplishable. The story and charecter depth are perfect. Also, after the show ends (this month) the creators would be a bit more leniant about how to make money off it.
Also, Peasant's Quest 2 would make me as happy as Willy Wonka. It seems like the Brothers Chap would be into it.
No Futurama! I love the show but don't know why everyone thinks this is just a phantasmagorical idea. None of the charecters are suited to go on a quest, the enviroment isn't extreamly promising, and the humer is a bit of a different shade than Telltale's. However, I still have faith in Telltale and think it would be great no matter what.
What else...I can't really speak for Manic Mansion or Day of the Tetacle being that I've never played them, but I would still buy them.
Hitchhiker's Guide, as I've stated before, would be amazing and I've already convinced myself that it will happen. It has had a text adventure, you know...it's not that great though.
Bone is dead. I wish it wasn't, but I've accepted it.
Homestar Runner and Wallace&Gromit could have sequels, but I kind of doubt it, more so Wallace&Gromit than Homestar. Aardman's series was good, but just wan't BIG enough, you know. I don't see any reason that Homestar couldn't continue (yes, I;m aware that Peasant's Quest is part of Homestar, that's different) but it doesn't seem likely. I want it to though!
I still want a game about The Beatles, either solving a mystery like in Help!! or a version of Yellow Submarine, but that's probably thae fanboy talking.
I have some reservations about a serious, heavily plot-driven game. Tales was only somewhat plot-heavy compared to previous titles, and it had some serious narrative and plot hiccups. Not enough to destroy the game, but enough that it might have broken a universe that requires a tighter narrative. Then again, I haven't played Telltale's CSI games. Oh, and I hate Lost.
Also, Infocom's Hitchhiker's Guide text adventure is simply amazing and you're a horrible person for thinking otherwise.
Now PEASANT'S QUEST...maybe. They'd have to swallow their LucasArts pride and take some cues from the Sierra catalog if they wanted to make it work.
Or they could make it so that dying doesn't end the game ( like you get a Prince of Persia-esq replay option).
Right, right, or they could go around castrating homeless people, or they could get to work on barbecuing infants kidnapped from the local maternity ward.

I would like to see The Middleman franchise as an episodic TT game. It was written by Javier Grillo-Marxuach, and it is insanely funny, just check out the comics, or the TV series with Matt Keeslar, and Natalie Morales.
Get the orginal cast, writers on the job, and it will be an awesome game, with totally ridiculous situations, like the boyband that really are intergalactic dictators
Watch the series, and you know what I mean! ^^

I hear that for that reason he's more focused on getting a few more books out while he still can, especially since there are some pretty good classic adventure games already. This is a bit morbid to say, but I think Telltale would be better off waiting to deal with his descendants. I do think the Discworld universe has a lot of potential for such a thing, just not at this time.:(
Although if a deal was to be done, an 'authentic' one with the approval of Terry would be best received from fans, even if he is unable to contribute further to plot or as a consultant as happens with other licenses.
I'm for an original (or not) IP if it has the following:
Bizarre cases, a bit of sci-fi, a dash of actual science, lots of fake sciene, a cow (1), a few agents (1 or more FBI, 1 or more freelance), quirky scientists (at least one) and food (probably connected to said scientists)
To whoever said Dark Crystal, that would be kinda cool. What about Labyrinth? That could be interesting, well except I don't think David Bowie would fit in an adventure game but who knows.
I'd personally love to see an adventure game based off of 'The Marvelous Misadventures of Flapjack' but I doubt that would ever happen.
I know people have been talking about Futurama for a long time and that would be cool, but I'd rather see something a little less mainstream. To me it would be too much like making a Family Guy or Simpsons adventure game, kind of un-original in a way. Futurama would work better though because the designers would have a lot to work with [different planets/locations, plenty of chracters/aliens/mutants/robots ect. plus might as well create new ones] so I'll admit that much. Although on second thought a Simpsons adventure game might not be too bad either if it was done right.

Already done. LucasArts's first adventure game, as a matter of fact. Douglas Adams was one of the designers. I never finished it -- man, that was a hard game.
I actually know one of the producers/designers personally (Brenda Laurel) -- never did ask her about this game. She's more well known for her work with Purple Moon.

Oh wow I did not know that. Cool.
edit: Oh, WOW. It's mega-old. lol. Would be cool if there were something more along the lines of a SCUMM Labyrinth game.

np: She & Him - Ridin' In My Car (Volume Two)
(Okay, I might be biased here... )
- Point and click adventure adventures usually favor nonviolent solutions. That would go perfest with Fraggle Rock's overall message.
- The Fraggles can be just as silly, if not quite as destructive, as a certain dog and rabbit.
- Each episode you could play a different member of the Fraggle Five. For example, maybe in the order they introduce themselves in the theme song...
Episode One: Gobo
Episode Two: Mokey
Episode Three: Wembley
Episode Four: Boober
Episode Five: Red
- We could also have short sections where we play as Cotterpin Doozer, Junior Gorg, Uncle Travelling Matt and/or Sprocket.
So, what do you think sirs?
Same.
Got even harder to concentrate when she guest starred on Bones alongside her sister Emily Deschanel. That was a good episode....
Star Wars LOST team ups!
Star Wars + Lost + Graham + Telltale = win
I really don't think it's Telltale's style. But, then again, I haven't played their CSI games.
At first I thought so too, but it has grown on me. Now I actually think Cars is as good as any other Pixar film, it even became one of my favourites...
Waited for a game adaptation since 2004.

Who owns Zork these days? Activision I guess.
Episodes set in that world could have potential.

I'm considering posting this until fiction has turned into reality. :O)
