What? You just did it in this very thread. Posts #198 and #199.
If that isn't multi-post, que venga Dios y lo vea*.

*It's mid-night. I'm too tired to try to find the proper English words...

isn't multi-post posting the same post twice? Also i was replying to other posts and they happened to be added at the end, i never knew it was multi-posting

Double-posting means posting twice in a row (with nobody else posting in the meantime) and multi-posting is more general, including double-posting as well as triple-, quadruple- and so on.

You can multiquote and reply just once with the messages you wanted to reply to being quoted. You can also edit your posts to add more information if you want to and nobody else has said anything.

Multiposting isn't a fatal offence, it's more of a "I everyone did that all the time we'd be in trouble" kind of thing, so it's good to edit one's posts whenever one thinks of it.

I don't understand what that means. Does it mean "If everyone did that all the time then we'd be in trouble"?, you may want to edit your own post cause its confusing

A huge followup discussion on multiposting is way more annoying and disruptive than multiposting itself.

Anyway, 2 posts in a row is no big deal as far as I'm concerned. if you can avoid it great. If it happens once in a while, meh.

I'm new to the forums and soemtimes just reply straight to a post instead of quoting it, also i don't know how to quote more than one message at a time in one post, especially as some of the posts are in different pages, i expect I could just create a new tab of a different page and bring the quotes from that page to here
  • edited September 2010
Yeah, I normally just open quotes up in new tabs, then cut and paste them all into one reply window if I want to quote several at once.
  • edited September 2010
i'll do that next time then and create a big message, thanks for the help. Also the forums are dead tonight, i subscribed to a lot of forums and this is the only forum that has a tiny bit of activity

Yes, that's what I mean, thanks. I added the "all the time" as an afterthought and put it in the wrong place accidentally. Possibly because I'm tired and that's where it would go in French.
  • edited September 2010
When I'm tired I miss out words, it can be funny sometimes but sometimes it doesn't make any sense and also does that mean your french?
  • edited September 2010
Yes, I'm French, although I live in Canada right now. But I'm not French Canadian, I'm French from France. I'm not even Canadian at all.

That makes sense, whats it like in Canada? Also this would be funny if it was true

That bio is actually, kind of accurate (if incomplete)!
    Please don't hit me avi!

I wouldn't link to my bio in my signature if it wasn't extremely accurate (if somewhat incomplete).
Also, Canada's okay, except it only has two seasons: snow and mosquitoes.

And Michael J Fox is Canadian! Here, back on topic. Kind of.
