That would have been handy to have in Season 2 with that deleted puzzle...

The topic makes me think of a game called Jack in the Dark :D
Perhaps a Jack-in-the-box can be a Toy of Power?

The only use I can think of for it has already been satisfied by the Can o' Nuts.
  • edited July 2010
It could be a modified version of Can-o-Nuts in that it captures a person or object that the clown is aimed at in said small space.

Mr. Papaya Head (Body Rearrangement) - Rearrange and change your bodyparts at will.
Rubik's Cube (Gravity Manipulation) - Change the center of gravity in any room. Walk on walls, ceilings, etc.
Yo-Yo (Time Bending) - Slows down or speeds up time.

    3D Glasses: See through walls

That would make more sense with X-Ray specs....

...assuming you haven't watched the TV series, that is...

    3D Glasses: See through clothes

    Fixed.
  • edited July 2010

3D Glasses should see into parrallel dimensions or alternate realities that are currently going on.

That wouldn't be of much use, ShoeHurt.

    They can't all be show-stoppers.
  • edited July 2010
And if it was going to glow why not just some glow in the dark stickers.

    perfect

I've been thinking way too much about a Sameth & Maximus game, so here are some ideas I've been toying around with:
    • Pet Rock: Brings stone to life
    • Squirt gun: Hydromancy (Control over water)
    • Death Rattle: Re-animates the dead
    • Rubber duck: Control over waterfowl (Pelicanesis)
    • Crayons: Automatically change the color of anything
    • Storybook: Transports you to a magical world of fantasy
    • Unkempt Arthur doll: Voodoo doll
    • Cardboard box: Can be a fort, transmogrifier, duplicator, or time machine
  • edited July 2010
Man I would totally pay for that.
Although this has degenerated into a "toy ideas" thread :p

    Cooking set:
    Makes you a turkey sandwich.

Season 3 is over. I think Telltale may consider this idea, since it became so popular.

The popular demand for a soundtrack overshadows a Toys of Power Catalogue. :p

    The Victorious Disguise
Toy:Funny disguise (Glasses, nose and moustache)
Power:Allows the wearer see reality how they want to see it.
Puzzles it could be used for:Following a dream (sort of) by changing something in the actual reality to match what is seen from the Victorious Disguise. That, and it could be used with other powers.
Notes:Makes the user look like an idiot.

A few Toys I thought up that avoid common archetypes already mentioned:
Hula Hoop: Trigger vibrations in things to shake them up. Giant Max could have used this to unleash major tremors to cause earthquakes.
Puzzle Pieces: Disassemble/reassemble something out of its mechanical parts. Mostly nonorganic inanimate objects.
Catnip Mouse: While this sounds like a pet toy I have a cool idea. It targets an object and surrounding people/animals become enthralled with it, without really taking over their minds. Works on a scent/pheromone level.
Bent Spoon: Bend or straighten spoon-like objects...wait a minute.

Puzzle pieces could work with unclothing ppl too (or clothing them, in Bosco's case :D). Catnip Mouse is basically magnet but the former is funnier.
  • edited September 2010
^ Or maybe a magnetic dress-up game for the same purpose.

Out of all the Telltale characters, those two have the most style and ability to emit cool one-liners nearly all the time. Wouldn't have minded Winslow, though.
