Obviously looking forward to play the BttF games.
Also looking forward to the 17th of this month. I will be attending the Netherlands - Turkey football(EU football that is) game then.
So convenient that Amsterdam is only a 10 minute drive from where I live. :D

I'm looking forward to my birthday on Sunday. My Sam & Max movie poster set is on its way as of today, and my parents are going to buy me frames for the five of them (and a Megatokyo poster I have) for my birthday and my dad's going to help me put them all up. I'm super excited for that.

    ^

    That sounds so awesome.

It think I should frame them too.

I even have the perfect place picked out. It's this piece of wall between my white board and the ceiling. I'll take a picture when they're all up.

Not being sick and for my left knee to stop hating me every time I need to stand.

Going to order the full Scott Pilgrim series on Amazon this weekend, can't wait to get those.

I was going to order the box set, but the price is downright silly. Around $20 more for a slipcover and a poster? Maybe if it included the movie...

    Let's see...
    1. Next semester, 'cause I only have two classes I need to take and can fill the rest of my 13 credits with fun things (bowling, classical piano for non-majors, choir, etc.)
    2. Graduating and finding a job
    3. Poker Night at the Inventory
    4. Back to the Future games
    5. Sam & Max: Season 4 (whenever it comes out)
    6. Half-Life 2: Episode 3 (I think Valve missed the point of episodic games...)
    7. Portal 2
    8. Getting my next package with the Devil's Playhouse poster set

    That's all for now.

I love those times. That's true freedom, in my book.

Thanksgiving, because, if I plan right, I will have precisely four days of absolutely no responsibilities! And then my parents will reveal that they have every second of my stay booked.

Unless the games in question are either one of these:

    -Big Rigs
    -Superman 64
    -E.T
    -Silver Surfer NES
    -Jeckyll and Hyde NES
-<insert other bad or frustratingly difficult game>

    Hair pulling times guaranteed. :p

Getting better so I can actually go to LARP next week. Also, playing Curse of Monkey Island if I can find a copy. So far my luck at the game shops in York has been nonexistent though.
  • edited November 2010
Hmm not sure, but only one day of work next week and then free for the rest is nice.

I could be a bastard and go about saying how if you read the books, then you all could have experienced The Deathly Hallows much earlier and experienced it to the full (seeing as how the books are superior to the movies). But... I'll let you have your fun.

Anyway, for me, I'm looking forward to:

    - Back to the Future - the Game
    - Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides (come to think of it, I should probably read the book as well :D)
    - Psychonauts 2 (though this will probably be a while away yet)
    - Dream Theater hiring a new drummer, though it's gonna be damn hard to replace Portnoy
    - January

Hmm... I remember esponding to this thread back when the 3DS was announced... time sure flies.

    3DS - Duh.
Weird Al's New Album - Still hoping for a 2010 release.
Alan Wake 2 - The end of the DLC definitely pointed to a sequel. They better not let me down.
Back to the Future: The Game - Again, duh.
Christmas - My favorite holiday. :D:D:D
Despicable Me Blu-Ray - That movie was the best.

    For me it's:
Monty Python's Spamalot; going to see it with a few friends next week.
Sarah Jane Adventures series 4 finale (monday/Tuesday)
Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol (thats the title of the xmas special)
Children in need (incase you don't know about it, the BBC run a big charity night once a year for children in need, they replace all their evening programming with light hearted sketches, with 5 minute trailers of skinny africans in between. I think it's quite moving.)
    Christmas
  • edited November 2010
I ordered Rogue Leaders: The Story of Lucas Arts on Amazon and hopefully it will arrive sometime between now and christmas.
    Also:
    Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol
    Christmas
Red Dwarf Series 10 Nothing officially confirmed yet but Craig Charles has said that filming starts in January next year, also Chris Barrie and Robert Lewylin have hinted towards it aswell. Not completely sure how I feel about it if Rob Grant's not involved, and Back to Earth was bad even for series 7 and 8 standards but I've heard that had something to due with Dave having short deadlines for Doug Naylor.
Deus Ex: Human Revoulution Again hesitant but looks good apart from changes to third person for takedowns and augmentations.
    Psychonauts 2 Hopefully
Christmas Specials Even if there crap it doesn't feel like Christmas with out them.

    - Doctor Who: A Christmas Carol: I ended up stopping two episodes before the end of the last season, and I intend to watch those after break starts to get in the Whovian mood.
    - Going home for Christmas: Finding that I am missing the family a bit. Not looking forward to the jet lag and dealing with the time differences.
    - Old Norse: Yes, call me a huge nerd, but I love that class and I'm looking forward to the next class
    - Shattered Legacies: I'm already missing my LARP and I've only been out a week thanks to being sick.

This minus the stuff about Back to Earth AND Series' Seven and Eight being bad.

    Most Telltale games.
    Some non-Telltale games.
Watching Megamind on DVD, which I heard is pretty good for a DW movie, but I don't feel like going to the theatres for it, so I'll just wait for the DVD.
The next Thursday Night on NBC, which is always fun except for Outsourced.
My date with this totally non fake girlfriend I always totally have and is totally a supermodel.
    That's about it.

Alot of people did the same. You're in for a treat when you do watch them though!

I know, I really liked the season up to that point, it's just real life reared it's ugly mug and basically killed my free time for a long while, and when it was done, I'd gotten ToMI so yeah...Dr. Who went on the back burner for a bit.

I have one more package to arrive! (Just need the S&M DVD to start shipping)! So, I'm looking forward to that. I just recieved my other package from them today. Everything in it equals awesome.

Same here. Once they ship, I shall soon recieve my box of Sam & Max goodness (five posters, Surfin' the Highway and of course, the Season 3 DVD)! Really excited! :D

The Testament of Sherlock Holmes. I saw the E3 trailer and got excited and the more I looked into it the more I liked. It's an open world adventure game with a dark storyline.

Oh good, this has been revived. I've been tempted to do so a couple of times, but, as creator of the thread, I figured it would be considered bad form.

Anyway, things I'm looking forward to:

    1. Rush's 'Clockwork Angels' (only two days away!)
    2. 'Torchlight II', even more-so now that it actually has an approximate scheduled release.
    3. The Double Fine Adventure, as long as it doesn't disappoint all of our gargantuan expectations.
    4. The next episode of 2Player's Double Fine documentary, as the first two have already been highly enjoyable and immensely interesting.
    5. 'Star Wars 1313', but since it's LucasArts at the helm (and with LucasArts being in its current state), it's easy to see this project disappointing me greatly.
    6. The day LucasArts pulls its head out of its arse, gets itself back into shape, and starts making some good decisions and decent products, though this could be a while yet.
    7. The day Telltale are given the go-ahead for another season of 'Tales of Monkey Island.' (Probably won't happen until '6.' happens.)
    8. 'The Walking Dead: Starved for Help.' I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the first episode, and believe that it marked a return to form for a fallen-from-grace Telltale. So yeah, I'm really looking forward to the next installment.
    9. 'Beyond Good & Evil 2.' My interest has been re-ignited by the recent screenshots and environment video that were released, and also the news that Ancel's focus has shifted back onto the project full-time, and development is now full steam ahead. Excitement all-'round.
    10. Coolsome's next necro (who knows what it might be!?).
