The Telltale engine doesn't really push stuff all that hard, really. It's not the Crysis Engine...

I've just played through on basically the same laptop as you (just 2.4Ghz the difference), and it was just fine. I think I had it at 1280x800, with fairly high settings. Effects on, but shadows on only 1 of the 2 bars. I didn't really push it further, but the game looked lovely enough.

My guess is it should run. Download the Sam and Max Penal Zone demo, if it runs OK you should have no problem with BTTF.

I played through ep. 1 on my Macbook 13" late 2008 yesterday. It should run just fine on yours...

I didn´t even experiencee lag or anything like that...

I've got an old Macbook...at least 4 years old if not older. What are the game's requirements? I can't seem to find them anywhere.

Hey fellows! I used the "Can You Run It" website and they say I cant run it on my laptop because of my integrated Intel video card. Funny thing is that it passes on all the attributes, but it seems it fails just because its not a Nvidia ou ATI card.. how unfair :(
    look:

Minimum: ATI or NVIDIA graphics card w/ 512 MB RAM
You Have: Mobile Intel(R) 4 Series Express Chipset Family
Upgrade Suggested: Unfortunately, your Video Card does not meet this requirement.
Features: Minimum attributes of your Video Card

    Required You Have
Video RAM 512 MB 1.7 GB
    Hardware T&L Yes Yes
    Pixel Shader version 2.0 4.0
    Vertex Shader version 2.0 4.0

But Im still hopeful someone out there with this same video card managed to run it!!
    Anyone????

    Thanks

I was able to run the game just fine with my Intel G33/G31 chip, but I have a desktop, not a laptop, so I don't know if that affects anything.

well.. at least that proves that a NVidia or ATI card is not that indispensable after all..
Im about to risk losing $24 to see whether Im right or not!

It should work, mine's a bit old as well, and it runs on my laptop as well. Now, it has to run in the low settings, but it should work!

Should run fine on those specs, I tried running it on my iMac 27 inch when I had one, and it didn't run that great, probably because of the huge screen and the not so great graphics card apple thought was a good idea to put in such a machine!

Never, ever trust Can You Run It ever. It's terribly inaccurate.

Somehow, I managed to run this on a 3 year old Intel Macbook with an integrated graphics chip and running Mac OS 10.5.8 Leopard as opposed to Snow Leopard and, not only did it run, it ran infinitely BETTER than it did running it on Windows XP with an integrated graphics chip and slightly better than minimum specs.

I'm surprised it even RAN on Leopard.

EDIT: I ran some more tests...apparently, even running the game at Max settings still works, albeit with some minor lag, though the delorean's exhaust fumes did cause major slow down. Aside from that, it all seems to work.

    My Specs.

    OS: Mac OS 1.5.8 Leopard
Processor: 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory: 2 GB
Video Card: 144 MB Intel GMA X3100 Integrated Graphics Chipset

good to hear that.. so it doesnt require a nvidia/ATI card at all

Apparently not. Then again, officially, integrated graphics chips are never fully supported.
