So now we have a release date at last.
I'm not really a fan of bttf as an adventure game.
I only joined this site as an all time monkey island fan.
I've got my free first episode coupon up and running and am quite excited to see if telltale can generate as much interest in this game and keep up the high standard of tomi.
    Looking forward to first episode!;):D

I agree that bttf as a video game sounds unlikely to be good enough for any fan. But Telltale have managed to revive two excellent video game franchises that people long thought dead and do justice to the original and even improve upon the originals in at some junctures. If anyone can make a great video game of a great movie its Telltale.

Ah, that's great! I finish school on Monday, so I can wait as long as I want that night, or play it next afternoon. Btw, should I assume (in the UK) that it will come out on Thursday? Poker Night and TCTDNS came out midnight and the next morning respectively. Then the 2nd, 3rd and 4th episodes of Sam & Max 3 came out withen 3, 2 and 1 hours after TT started work. But, since I can stay up late, I may wait for it, download it (not too late though. Maybe 1 am at the latest) and play it the next day. Or get a half hour depending when I get it. I may just think they'll take a few hours on the day to finish it off, both those games were bug free (except for Poker Night for some people. And that bug that stopped me moving as Hover-Sam) and enjoy them slightly more.
Okay, I'll do that. Just say Thursday is the release date. For me. Unless I keep checking all night. At least we now know it is coming next week, regardless of where we stay...

Ahh only 1 week to wait, time to get the blu-rays out of the box again and start another Back to the future evening to shorten the wait.

Hey, remember when we legally overspammed the global forum waiting for the release of The City That Dares Not Sleep? http://www.telltalegames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=18967 (a truly epic waiting thread, you should check it out... from the beginning to the end! :D)

Wanna do it again... a bit? This time with It's About Time? :D

It's 21. december here. Here's some things you can do in 24 hours:

    - Watch all Harry Potter movies. If you've been watching 30 times each of BTTF movie in last 3 days, it's about time (pun intended) to try something else.

    - Get a passport. You will travel to different places in past and the future. You probably need a passport.

    - Learn to play guitar. It's a good thing you can learn to play guitar in just one day, as you'll need to play Johnny B Goode until the evening.

    - Clean you body of alcohol. You are visiting prohibition, so at least you can learn how to clean yourself of all that alcohol.
  • edited December 2010
Actually. It does not come during next 24 hours. Reason being that they don't do middle night releases at least yet and even if they did, they release their games during business hours USA time.
  • edited December 2010
Still the 20th in the good ol USA... lets not go confusing people into thinking it goes by their timezone....

If it's 20th where you are, just double up those things - watch all Harry Potter movies TWICE or once and than once backwards, get TWO passports (you can sell one for good price), learn to play TWO guitars (if Jimmy Page can, so can you) and get drunk twice. It's New Year after all.

Now remember kids.... this thing goes on TTG's location... here is a handy little page for you guys in other countries.... especially ones who think that when its the 22nd in their country its that way everywhere :p Also know its not like as soon as it hits midnight the game will be released.... it will take a while... they have to prod the hamsters to start running on their wheels and shoo off all the hidden people chewing on wires.... Then they hit the release button.

I'm honestly not waiting or counting the seconds till BTTF ep 1 hits. Partly as I have two kids to look after and I'm playing Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit on the iPad. (The iPad really is a surprisingly adept games platform, it keeps surprising me)
