(unless used in an insulting manner) among gays, the word "gay" is actually preferred over homosexual, and in fact many anti-gay organizations purposely use the word homosexual because of the emphasis on the word "sexual", which is more off putting to not so open minded folk than the word "gay".

To be fair, while I generally like the guy, he does have a bit of a temper sometimes. He doesn't just get vocal, he gets angry, or at least manages to sound like it.
