Heya, the name is David, I hail from Melbourne, Australia. I'm an electronics engineer, specialising these days in surround DSP, and audio acoustic design. Do some composing on the side. I've been a gamer since the game+watch days of Nintendo, You know, when they were released, not when they became collectable.. cut my pc gaming teeth on Wavy Navy and Montezuma's Revenge on the Apple IIe. I basically creamed myself when I found out that TTG was being formed and in discussions with Steve Purcell, bought Texas Hold'em when it first came out, and never looked back :) Mostly here for Sam and Max, Monkey Island, and lately BTTF.

Even though my join date is Dec 2006, my post count is pretty low. I usually avoid posting in forums since it's hard to escape the arrogance of it all. My advice for all new-comers would be "Never argue with an idiot, because they'll drag you down to their level and then beat you with experience". Sadly haven't been taking my own advice lately, but I've discovered a new hobby in the process - baiting trolls. :)

Wow... I just now saw this thread! Hello everyone!

My name is brandon. All my mates call me ponyboy (you can too, if you want)

I've been a Nintendo fan since the 80s... I still remember Dad bringing the NES home in 1987. My Dad was a PC gamer all thru the 90s and was always bringing cool stuff home. I still remember the early Wolfenstein, Dark Forces and all those classic games.

I'm a huge fan of graphic novels (And Bone, of course!). I'm also a musician and a 3D animator/modeler/rigger.

I'm glad to be here! :)

Dashing and SHODANFreeman are not trolls. You should try to bait me instead! It will be hilarious! For me.

This is me sending a telepathic introduction of myself directly to all of your brains.

It literally just occurred to me that I've been here for 2 years and never introduced myself....

I happen to be a relatively young member as opposed to some of you (I turned 16 recently) but I got a old broken NES at a yard sale, fixed it, and I've been a Nintendo addict ever since.

My friends and I started a band 2 years ago and released our first CD earlier this week. There's a link in my sig on the off chance that you care.

I'm admittedly terrible at FPSes. I've put about 150-160 hours into TF2 and my kill death ratio still sits at about 3:1. I need more practice.

Luckily I had auto censor on in my brain at that moment and just got a lot of beeps :)

My name is Alan and I have been pc gaming since the 90s started on pc with Ultima VII moved to MUD's and then AC/EQ and been a game junky my whole life. Glad to be around, this is a great time for telltale.

    Howdy, all!

I'm a longtime adventure gamer, and having wrapped up BTTF I believe I can now actually say that I've played through ALL of Telltale's self-published adventures. (I'll get around to the CSI games eventually, and I don't know what counts as "finishing" the poker titles.)

That is, I'm done until next week when Puzzle Agent 2 hits...

    Hey everyone!

Originally just signed up here to order some of Telltale's games due to the sale (currently have only played Sam & Max 104), but saw there was a forum here too, and decided I might as well have a look around =)

Relatively new to adventure gaming, myself. Believe I started with Myst a long time ago (which I loved, even though I could never figure out any of the puzzles on my own!), but only REALLY got into the genre this year. Turns out I'm still pretty rubbish at them, but I enjoy them, so hey, that's all that matters, right? Even though the puzzles give me trouble, I like them, as there's that sense of satisfaction when you finally figure it out.

I'm a bit of a collector of older games too, mainly for SEGA systems, but I also collect some Nintendo games too. I still use my NES, Sega Master System, Megadrive, Sega Saturn, and Nintendo 64 pretty frequently, and always enjoy discovering new games for them!

    Hey ya'll,
I signed up with telltale back in march but due to technical difficulties, I was not able to post until today. Thank you tech support for fixing the problem. Im an old school gamer and a BTTF fan from way back. Seems like a nice community and I like what I see so far.

Well its been a while...Never introduced myself. But here goes...

I'm a normal guy. Live in nice suburban home near the river. Pretty nice place. Recently moved back to Florida so things have changed. I work for my father at his dealership. I'm also my moms assistant, she is an Insurance Broker who just started her new company. After selling her old one (All Med Services of Florida).

It's pretty fun, and I get to help out the folks that raised me. But other than that, I love Telltale. Their games have something that keeps me coming back. They are awesome. Every game they produce is awesome (BTTF was a little bit bad. But still better then what we got as kids)

But yea. Thats me. Finally introduced myself after a long time.

'hoy there. Greetings. This is my first post.

    Disclaimer:
Let me get this out first: I'm terrible at introducing myself. I have to start off with a pointless disclaimer in order to break the ice. And watch out for the attempts at English* mastering. And feeble attempts at humour. Ye have been warned.

    Who am I?
I'm a small furry carnivorous mammal that spends too much recreational time on the internet. So nothing new. As you have already guessed my username is Merekat, and I'm new to this forum. I regularly check up on this forum daily for news, fun & adventure etc. And so I created this account in hopes to be more active. But mostly so I can stalk/spy on everyone.

How did I come to be here?
I was first introduced to Telltale via Tales of Monkey Island. Only having just bought ToMI recently and completing it a few times, I have now reawakened my obsession in all things Monkey Island. (Oh gawd. What have I done?!) Clearly I have a lot of catching up to do with the rest of the Telltale games. It is just a shame that the older games do not support mac. As I would like to be able to play Wallace & Gromit and Bone someday. :(

And now, just for the sake of it, here be some handy (or not so handy) info about myself. In easy to read (and type!) bullet points.
    • I like to call myself a Forum Gypsy™. I lurk/hang/wander around with nothing much to contribute.
    • Favourite colour is purple.
    • Favourite number is 13.
    • Have one cat. Just one. That I keep as a pet.
    • I have never eaten a turkey. Never.
    • I have never broken a bone. I mean, not including the ones outside my body (mwhaha). Does that make me indestructible (or destructible)?

So yeah, that's is all. Releasing personal information about myself makes me a little queasy so I have to cut this short (short?). But no one reads this stuff anyway. So I should be safe.

    * I'm Australian. So clearly English is not my first language.

Hi, my name is William, I'm from country called Sweden.
And I came here because I like games, especially older games like arcade games from the 80's to early 90's and adventure games (which is why I found myself here).
As you can tell by my Avatar, I'm a fan of King's Quest. (But the reason I registered was because of BTTF and not by the KQ announcement)

    In other words, hello! :-)

Wait. Isn't English the predominant language in Australia? I mean, if someone said they were from there, I would automatically assume they spoke English natively... Erm. I mean. Welcome!

Well, technically no. We speak Aussie. It is a skewed version of English.

Posting images of your order is fine, but please remove the order number first. Also, you might want to post about this in the support forums.

    TurboTJ Here,
Been a fan for a while. My friends introduced me to telltale back in College and I have been following and playing ever since. I joined up here because I want to make a game suggestion but I have to find out if someone may have already suggested my suggestion. Weird how you have to research a suggestion being suggested before you can suggest one. Try saying that 5 times fast, I suggest water first.
Anywho, hope to chat with someone of you later.
