I'm in the same boat. I couldn't get it to work on my Mac then tried redownloading it again two days ago and it finally ran. And when Episode 3 came out, I'd only just completed Episode 2.
But HEY... I'm looking forward to marathoning this game when all 5 episodes are out - and doing that at least every month or two.
Hope you aren't the guy that keeps re-testing to make sure episode 1 stays platinum on winehq. If a game needs third-party DLLs from winetricks, the maximum rating must be Gold. (Which BTTF needs, so its max rating is gold, not platinum.)
I'm a teacher...and I don't have to be at my school for 59 hours... so I will definitely be able to play through this a couple of times then get cracking on the Predictions 5 script with Mathman.
ehh. OK I think you may have sold me (and now that I know where you're coming from) - if they wanted to be really progressive, I suppose they could just put up their Burndown Chart.. and there's your progress bar
But I bet that'd be a hard sell to marketing and prod mgmt
This may be true, but there are a few other factors.
1) What happens when one of those days comes along and you lose ground? Customers are fickle creatures and something like backwards progress could easily cause 'panic in the streets' to the majority of those customers who aren't devs themselves and who don't understand the trials and tribulations and process involved.
2) Tricking/lying to customers is a dangerous and slippery slope. You can easily get caught up in doing it yourself; and if they do somehow manage to 'catch' you in one of those lies or tricks, even if its something inanely minor and unimportant, it's a 'scandal' to customers and could be trouble.
There may be a way to accomplish something similar to what you're talking about, but its not such an easy matter as 'oh, just do this,' because of the large multitude of variables, and worse, people involved.
All I'll say is it had better be worth the wait. If it's a longer episode than the first 4 then i'm all for the longer wait and with all the loose plotlines (and tagline implying we'll see the future somehow) I'd say it likely could be,
Also the wait between episodes 1 and 2 was nearly 2 months (december 23rd-february 18th) and so if we have a june release, it cant be much longer. It could even be shorter than the 38 days between episodes 2 and 3. If it's june 1st, that would actually be the shortest wait between episodes
Everyone is saying something about cliffhangers. Saying it has a cliffhanger is a spoiler!!!
I dont think that saying that there is a cliffhanger is a spoiler. We all knew that this would be the second last episode and the first 3 episodes clearly end on cliffhangers so we all knew there'd be a cliffhanger.
and tries to prevent the FCB tmeline...
then unexpectedly, the sheer number of paradoxes caused by marty and doc start ripping apart space-time and in ep 5 they have to prevent the multiverse from being distroyed. in the ep 5 preview, they reveal marty's greatest foe ever: the TANNENOSAURUS...dun dun dunnnnn!
(this is a joke, no spoilers here...except what you already know from ep3)

I never played the game and if the last sentence is true, why did you do that and if it is not true hahaha.

...except, I'm at school. I won't be able to play until around 5:00pm! ARRRRRRRRRRGH!
I'm going to go make some nachos.

Yay! It still is the 29th! ... Okay, it's 10 pm but still.
Downloading.
Maaaaan... just play the damn Episode 4 game, and worry about Ep.5 later on; I would say... NEXT MONTH!
is that confirmed? I have seen conflicting pages on whether the last episode will be released in may or not.
I see. Well at least we have a release month!
So we have to wait a month?
I can deal with that. Since im getting The Sims 3DS and the 3ds in May. So i will busy with that.
Yes there was.
Please no spoilers! I have not played it yet.
Telltale- Masters of annoying suspense.
Thank you.

No no it isn't one bit. Every damn episode has had a cliffhanger to it.

Here's another spoiler... Marty McFly gets into some crazy situations, wherein he alters time in some shape or form.
OMG!
I don't know how to do the spoiler hidden thingy... so...
SPOILERS!
Its not a spoiler unless you never played episodes 1-3. How do you do the spoiler hidden text? Can someone tell me how?
Glah.
right guys!?!?
