I don't know if this has been posted but can we assume that we will get Episode 3 when the PSN is back online? (US and Europe)
Or has Sony's QA been frozen while waiting for the return of the PSN?

I don't think anyone knows for sure - it's beyond Telltale's control at that point, so there's naught to do but hope.
If it is June, then they've clearly broken their schedule. I have had no "official" word of any delay - then again, I hardly receive TT's emails as it is!

No they haven't. No telltale releases ever said it would be before june. Up until episode 4 was released, episode 5 was only announced it would be released by the end of 2011.
December 22, 2012. BTTF5 is released, with a 40 hour long plotline, thrilling puzzles, and an over-the-shoulder race through time as you pilot the DeLorean through Hill Valley's past, present, and future.

If they pull out all the stops, make the story at least double of what the other episodes have been, give us new locations and some new types of gameplay and just overall give the game more polish, then they can take the extra month for development.

...what if they instead write even more expository, non-interactive and pretty misplaced storyline for the last episode with the sole purpose of getting an "old Marty" into the game?

........ then announce it'll be delayed until 2012. >.>
Reposting this here since it's relevant. We now know how they'll handle the missed PSN content which does include Episode 3 of BTTF.
Q: The PlayStation Store hasn’t updated since April 19th. When can I download digital games that were planned to be released since then?
A: To date, three Tuesday publishes were missed, which included items like Under Siege and the MotorStorm Apocalypse demo. Rest assured that you won’t miss any of this great content. To catch up on the large amount of material, we’ll be publishing to the PlayStation Store multiple times per week once commerce functionality is restored. We will update the PlayStation.Blog with information on timing of the Store restoration, as well as the full list of new content as each publish occurs.
So once it comes back up we should get Episode 3 very quickly.
Have you guys ever stopped to think...that this thread could disrupt the space time continuum and cause unwarranted delays and a frightful postponing of release?

Don't forget the 'refrigerator' he created in 1885.
Or has Sony's QA been frozen while waiting for the return of the PSN?

LoL? Some marty you are. He clearly made an Ice Cube maker.
I was making a reference to the dialogue hence why I put refrigerator in quotations. I'm more than aware of what an ice cube looks like.
Voilà.
Hey, let's not get personal here; the last thing I want is an identity crisis.
Marty isn't really a "scientist". Also i think you are having a real identity crisis if you insist on pretending you are Marty McFly.
He's not. It clearly says MARTIN McFly. lol
Touche! lol!
You have real identity crisis aswell.
You suck at jokes. And you aren't private.
There Wheatly. Whats your comeback you bloody blue brit ROBOT.
Allow the battle of wits to commence.
He isn't replying. I guess i win.
I have the patience to wait till fall for a JP game. Im sure you can wait 5 more weeks.
Marty is the nickname of Martin. It's my middle name. My grandpa's name was Martin and went by Marty.
Apparently, you have never seen Full Metal Jacket. Reference mis-comprehension is not an excuse.
No. You lost. You are floating in space and partially broken, Wheatley, the newb bot.
Other than what I am saying, I have nothing to say to that.
but then who was phone
I would also like to know this. Can anybody confirm?
Not neccesarily. My dog's name is Marty, not Martin. Could you imagine calling a dog Martin? Rediculous!
To be honest, it's even worse than you think.
Great Scott! That means they could literally take until the end of time itself to release the final episode!!!

Then the world ends. AND NOBODY GETS TO PLAY.
Clearly you are massacring me in the battle of wits.
They do release it in June 2011 surely.
They do, don't they? DON'T THEY?!

I hope so. That said, with the prolonged PSN downtime we're unclear on what, if any, effect it may have on Back to the Future's release schedule.
All the time but then I figure 'What the hell?'.
