I love this thread. I love the tags. I love everybody in this thread. I love this forum for making this thread possible. I'm just... so filled with love right now.
I return to the forums after like... 2 or 3 weeks and read this and I'm like:
Umm.... shocked? Yes. Happy? well... I do love this new MLP cartoon... I really just wasn't expecting Telltale to make a game of it. While I'll agree it'll stick out like a sore thumb compared to the rest of Telltale's catalogue for the most part, I can see a positive in this. Introducing young kids into adventure gaming: the genre most people thought was dead. Guess we gotta educate too, huh? XD
They haven't even announced it officially and they've already made a trailer! I wish they'd do Puzzle Agent 2 or something more interesting with the same speed.

Telltale should make this game! With it they could introduce young kids into adventure gaming, and hopefully create a large following for the next generation. Adventure games could once again become the dominating game genre of the gaming world, and the Telltale fans the master race of players!
Long live Telltale! All glory to the hyperkinetic rabbity thing!
Say what? TTG's audience is already established, we don't want kids all over the place, we don't need to baby sit, the adults around here are hard enough to get along with...
This is madness!
I couldn't even watch that entire trailer it was literally painful for me to watch the first few seconds.
With it's quirky sense of humor and memorable cast characters, I think My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic would be a perfect franchise for TellTale Games to pick up.
While a 3D engine would be fine, I'd prefer to see a 2D engine similar to the Hector games.

That...that's low, man. Real low.
Ponies are one thing, but I can't even pretend to like effeminate sparkly vampires. Not even for a good joke. And that's saying something.
Masquerade vampires faces on parade masquerade biite your frecking neck off!
I can honestly say I have no idea how to respond to this. But sure!
That's adorable. It really is.
I can only hope the full name of that newspaper is Games and Space.
Valve is.
Everything is beautiful.

They were obviously hired to take part in the making of the game and are busy working with Ryan Jones and designing the characters.
Just kidding... or AM I

Between this, Law & Order, Jurassic Park, Fables, The Walking Dead and King's Quest... I'd choose this.
*sigh* Bad Youtube. Bad.
Is it so wrong that I totally fell for this and got all excited.
Telltale would totally be the perfect company to pull off a pony game @_@
It definitely looks a lot darker than I thought it'd be.
"The time-traveling is just too dangerous. Better that I devote myself to study the other great mystery of the universe: ponies!"
This is madness!
