To get a little more into detail on the shipping issue, it IS being addressed. The zaniness that has been shipping items from our store (delays, price, discrepancies between what was ordered and what arrives, etc.) for some customers is a problem that we have targeted the basic cause of and are currently taking action to fix the issue entirely. It won't be an overnight switch, in fact it may cause a brief period of time where there is little to no availability of shippable merchandise, but we're in the exploratory stages of getting NEW product into the store that's in line with what fans, old and new, want from a Telltale Games store. While I can't make any promises on what may or may not appear in the store in the future, or when exactly these merchandise updates would occur, care is being taken to make sure that it's of the quality Telltale has been known for.
I don't know if this is a comment that applies here... but it makes sense. I still agree that the present store feels... very wrong.
Makes sense. They probably don't intend to go about restocking or adding new merch until after the 75% off sale, for obvious reasons.
If that was the reason, maybe they should have done that 29 days ago, dontchathink? Indeed, it seems as if the incredible bargain that was 75% off was primarily aimed at getting all the old stuff out of the store. It has worked obviously.
This sale ends on Friday. I am quite exited to find out what new products we might expect afterwards.
I'm under the impression TTG is simply getting a new, bigger warehouse.
In addition, on Twitter a month or so ago they said they're just re-evaluating their merch options and that a Sam and Max Season 3 soundtrack is being considered.
The annoying part is that because I already lost a big order I placed last year due to that shipping issue, I was waiting for good news on that before ordering more merch...
My "bundle" was pretty battered on its way to Germany. But I'm happy to have it now. But if there might be a Season 3 soundtrack, the previous Seasons soundtracks might come back as well. The question remains, of course, if it will be available as a "bundle" again...
I'd normally assume that is a VERY broad interpretation, if not a willful misinterpretation of that snippet, but I think I'll pass this time and believe the same.
yep. I just love how they wouldn't even mention moving to me. lol I filed a ticket for an undelivered order from June, before I saw any of this moving business. Anyway, they just got back to me today stating that they didn't have items in stock and they will be available and shipped sometime in August. o.O What's wrong with just saying "We are moving our warehouse". I just found it funny. Now, I'm not blaming TTG and I'm not saying which rep got back to me, but c'mon, that's kind of funny. It's like "hey, let's give as little information as possible"...like they got the Ark in that warehouse or something.
Hopefully this means in August I can satisfy my Sam and Max merchandise fix? I want to get a Surfin' the Highway book if any are still available, as well as T-shirts and posters. Speaking of that, is Steve Purcell a regular at the Telltale booth at San Diego Comic-Con? That may mean that I can schedule a vacation next year to check it out and meet him in person.
Ever since I first checked out Sam and Max I've fallen in love with his art style, even Monkey Island!
August is the target month for getting new stuff into the store but we're still working on it. Of course, we hope to get new merch in sooner rather than later, but as of right now the only info I've got for you guys is that we're aiming for new stuff in the store this month.
I was so sad to see that the Sam & Max cartoon DVD set was removed during the 75% off sale. I've been wanting that for a long time. Is that coming back?

One more reason to dislike Telltale.
What's next? No DVDs for full season buyers?
edit 1: Okay, here's Amy announcing something...

I have the feeling that the Season 3 soundtrack is just around the corner.

You know something we don't, right? Please?

I know nossing! NOSSING!!
No, seriously.
The is a very powerful tool, my friend.
All I can say is Nooooooooooooooooooooo ........
For the millions of BTTF DVDs?
Seriously though...I think they took it down because of the move.
Amendment: We're moving to a larger/better warehouse!
Your expecting to shift that many BTTF, JP and Walking Dead DVDs?
Looking forward to seeing what August brings Alan.
I am very disappointed.
Hopefully on their 10th or 15th birthday
Ever since I first checked out Sam and Max I've fallen in love with his art style, even Monkey Island!
Looking forward to Jurassic Park!
From a happy fan...
Again, NO. I don't know anything. But shipping is supposed to start again in August, so - who knows?
Reggie has a sad.
Correct, not August 1. Reggie's body should be ready though.
Disappointed I am, but also curious as to what merchandise will be in the new store.
