Sonic satam. Its way better both storywise and entering wise over a low budgeted live-action crapfest such as power rangers. I am still furious over the fact that Power rangers had higher ratings over this work of art. Proof that kids would watch anything that is crap.
It always seemed to me that everyone who actually WATCHED that show actually really liked it. I always had a little personal preference to Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog (Which on the other hand, everyone hated xD) but I still loved SatAM, and did feel that SatAM was overall the better show, and the best Sonic cartoon so far.
On the topic of video game cartoons, the Earthworm Jim cartoon was really good and overlooked too.
FLCL. A great anime in my humble opinion, but none of my fellow otaku (anime fans) like it. In fact, they all hate it and mock me for my love of it. Takkun!!!!!!!!

Its third only to Ren and Stimpy and Freakazoid.
(The best damn shows ever. If you don't agree then, I'll just have to confiscate your TV licence)
Another show of the 80s, in this one, Captain Power fights alongside Major Matthew 'Hawk' Masterson, Lieutenant Michael 'Tank' Ellis, Sergeant Robert 'Scout' Baker and Corporal Jennifer 'Pilot' Chase. Their war is against the evil Lord Dread and his army of Bio-Mechs, humans turned machine that rage over the planet.
Dread and Power, formerly scientists who worked together named Dr. Taggart and Dr.... Power, became blood enemies. Power developed the Power Suits, capable of going toe to toe with the Bio Mech army. However, humanity was on the brink of collapse 15 years after the Metal Wars had begun, in which the show takes place.
The show was marked by a line of tie in toys. Action figures were of course on the market, but the coolest of these toys were the aircraft. Buying an aircraft, you could fire at the TV screen during the show. If you hit the enemy Biomechs that were flying through the air, you got points. Take enough damage from their blasts and the pilot of your ship would be ejected from the cockpit, signaling the end to your mission.
To transform into their power suits, each member of the team would step up to the Energizer and shout, "POWER ON!" http://youtu.be/5UNmOy2Xp6s
As a further incentive, this show was written by the same man who wrote Babylon 5.

One of the few anime's I've ever given up on (The other was Kiddy Grade, FTR). It just made absolutely no sense. At all. Ever.
It's actually kind of telling that it was made by the same team who did Evangelion, since it seems exactly the sort of insanity you'd come up with after spending years on incredibly depressing anime-fi.

Nah, FLCL actually makes perfect sense, but you really do have to watch it 2 or 3 times to get it. The funny thing about FLCL is that almost every single "random" thing that happens either has some meaning (which becomes obvious once you "get" it) or is important to the story.
Also, you have to watch the whole thing (only 6 episodes) to have any chance at getting it. If you're interested, watch the whole thing, then watch it again. The "problem" with FLCL is that it's from the viewpoint of somebody who has absolutely no clue at what's going on until the end, thus the viewer has the same experience since nothing is really explained outside of what the main character and a few others see.
Oh, and I don't think all the blame lies on Gainax haha. It was a co-made by Gainax, Production I.G., and some studio called Starchild.
I'm gonna say, Terminator: Sarah Connor Chronicles. That show had a substantial handful of dumb episodes dragging it down, but overall it was well-executed and I really wish they had been able to make enough episodes to finish up the insane plot they had come up with.

FLCL is pretty great. Even when I first watch it and didn't get it at all, I still enjoyed it for the characters and the energy. I should rewatch that again sometime. I remember always wanting to buy it on DVD, but when it was new the discs were absurdly priced even by anime standards.
Everybody else seems to like this show and I don't know why. This show is ANNOYING. I have reluctantly sat through all of Season One AND the Movie, so I know what I'm talking about here.
The two main characters are complete idiots. I know that's the point, but for me that's also the problem. As Captain Obvious, two of the many evils I have to face are conservatism and stupidity. The show is always having the characters act stupidly and learn nothing. If there's one thing I can't stand, it's a Karma Houdini. And that laughing. Oh, god, that laughing. If I hear either of those two numbskulls chuckling at nothing for one second, it's enough to make me want to reach into the TV and punch them both in the face.
I was never really sure if anyone liked Xiaolin Showdown or not, but I did. And if audience response at a voice actor panel is any indication, nobody besides me liked MegaMan NT Warrior.

Sure it was kind of goofy, and that kid is REALLY REALLY irritating, it certainly wasn't bad.
Pretty much summed up my thoughts, only Chris really was enough to put me off the show. Episodes where he didn't play much of a role weren't bad though.
Everything involving Sonic since Sega Saturn is terrible. Discuss.
I'd say since early Gamecube. The Adventure games were Love it or Hate it kind of games (personally I loved them), Sonic Advance 1 and 3 were fantastic, and parts of Sonic Heroes were good (though overall it was a bit of a mess). Sonic really lost it when his games were either lame gimmicks (Shadow, Unleashed) or just running in a straight line with little to no platforming or challenge (3D sections in Colors, Rush, Advance 2)
I really should watch Underground some time. Not because I expect it to be good, but because I want to be able to fairly say what I think of it.

They've just recently re-released it in the US on DVD & BluRay. All six eps on one disc for around $20 (give or take a few dollars depending on which version you get).
One downside - both versions (like the originals) are in fullscreen, even the BluRay. So that means black bars on the side if you have a HD widescreen TV (though you can always use the format button on your TV, but that makes it look...ew)

If this was DeviantArt that post would get rants up the butt. I partly agree though.
Sonic X, Season 2 (and maybe Season 3 if it's not for ridicilously bland and boring human characters trying so hard to fit in) was actually damn sweet. Storylines of Sonic Adventure adapted to an anime --is a risky decision but it was enjoyable to watch, maybe JUST for the nostalgic value. Now that the characters weren't trying to be all cute and lovely and playing baseball with the main villain of the whole damn thing; every character was distinct and likable, much more so than how they were portrayed in the games since the beginning of the 3D era. The character establishment was well done, and the way they carried that out so that they could make their own original storyline as a new season -without having the need of introducing the characters- was a smart move. Season 3 had a really damn weird storyline and well, it was intense and awesome. I don't say much about Season 1 but... I don't hate it either. It feels like the whole show turned out to be something that every Sonic fan of any age may enjoy here or there.
It wasn't as great, but COMPARABLY good, to anything that came out after Sonic Adventure -including Sonic Adventure. My favorite Sonic game ever is still Sonic 3 and noone can top that shit out anymore, but it was good to find some gold (or maybe bronze) under that pile of garbage they threw at us over the years.

Too bad the games were still awful. When was the last time they even made something worthwhile in the franchise? I mean, really? They should put it out to pasture.

Please explain this one to me. I tried so hard to understand what was funny.
I stand by my love!
Who didn't like Lie to Me!?
F*** yes!

This is from my favourite Russian Sitcom, Высокий раз Папа Ваня!
Looks like Vanya's gotten himself in trouble with the Братва! I hope he pays his protection money!

That's ironic, as my Dad and I are the only two people in the UK to dislike Doctor Who (or Doctor Poo, as we oh-so-maturely call it).
Sonic X.
Godzilla The Series (both of them)
Kolchak: The Night Stalker (the original)
That show wasn't so bad.
Sure it was kind of goofy, and that kid is REALLY REALLY irritating, it certainly wasn't bad.

Sonic X was a good show. Certainly better than Underground (Quick way to piss me off, mention sonic has siblings. And was in a rock band.)
Anyway, Something I like that all other people who have read the books of the series seem to hate, The Dresden Files.
Everything involving Sonic since Sega Saturn is terrible. Discuss.
Can I Bizarro this topic and talk about shows I hate that nobody else does?
Other people already have so why not.
Okay, thanks.
First off, Beavis and Butthead.

So did I!! In German dubbing even!!
Loved all of these too.
Whatever happened to that?!
Anyway, here goes nothing:
Shaun the Sheep
Jimmy Neutron
Spectacular Spider-Man
Also, no one mention My Little Pony.
One went rouge.

How about The Tick? I was the only kid in school who loved it.
Eat shit and die. There was nothing terrible about Sonic SATAM. I'll take Jaleel White as Sonic over any of the video games ANY DAY, Poopy Pants.

Speaking of Sonic...
Sonic SatAM.
