Steam has better deals on their own games?

Why do you charge more than steam for your minimal effort into your games. SAM and MAX is $50 on this, steam i got it for $10.00. that game has been around for 10 years now.no game keeps its value that long.If you go through this company to order their games your ripping yourself off. For one telltale games cant even get their own games running properly while steams works just fine, and the customer support is horrible with TTG. Steam doesnt blow you off or knows how to fix TTG games better than TTG.Besides you practice of taking extra charges from accounts without authorization.Ide suggest using steam, you permantly have your games, and they work when they are released.I order sam and max through TTG and they couldnt even trouble shoot their own software.Its pathetic and your buisness practice is greedy.Do not use TTG downloader games unless you want to face possible issues of it not operating.Also its $26.00 for the pre order on steam for jurrasic park and of course TTG is charging $39.99.

    1. For 50$ you get three Sam & Max games on TTG, not just one.
    2. Telltale exists since 2004 (first game 2005, first S&M season 2006), so no game has been around "10 years".
    3. There are sales on Steam as well as in the TTG store, independently.

    11. The "extra charges" accusation is ludicrous. It never happened to me and I can't remember stumbling across the problem in these forums.
    12. The TTG downloader works just fine for me.
    13. Fairly recent sales/offers/refund/gift coupon practices, especially one tied to pre-March Jurassic Park preorders, does point in a completely different direction than that of a "greedy" company.
    14. Watch your spelling of Jurassic Park there.
    15. The 39.99 are for the Deluxe Edition of JP only available in the TTG store. This means a physical game edition with some nice goodies in it.
    16. For 26.00, you just get the digital variant of the episodes on Steam.
    17. Steam is a valued partner of TTG. If you prefer their services, go ahead. You make it sound like they're competitors.

    Telltale has never put "minimum effort" into their games, with the exception of BTTF.
    SAM and MAX is $50 on this, steam i got it for $10.00.

    That $50 counts towards all three seasons, while it sounds like you only paid for one. Also, the TTG versions come with physical, DRM-free discs, which the Steam version doesn't have.

    Uhh, no. Season One(which I presume you bought, as you're talking about how old it is) was released in 2006, not 2001.

    What about my ripping? Anyway, the Steam versions might be cheaper, but the TTG versions have bonuses that make up for the higher price, like the aforementioned disks.

    Though the customer support hasn't really been great the past few months, I'm pretty sure the Steam version would have the same problems as the TTG version.

    Yes, but the TTG version is a physical copy that comes with a bunch of physical objects. The Steam version is just a digital copy of the game.

    Also, keep in mind that we're in a bit of a transition period here, as Telltale's previous customer service representative just left and the new guy is settling in (and doing a damn fine job).

    paid for all three seasons their, sorry but your misinformed.I remember reporting you to visa for amy lukima too for double charging after a cancelation, yes 10 dollars for all three seasons, and got third season free on PSN.your company is greedy and your games are easy to rendor.

    might i add i played your game for free after you couldnt get it to work yourself.Thats sad also. so i played it before paying steam to play it.You dont know what your doing as a staff and for customer service. Visa sais otherwise too.

    Im an old costumer that you booted for wanting my refund for the bad support to run my purchased games.YEs all key codes apllied are permanant on steam products,and once you use the key on disk based games.Its stored in a server too to downlaod ALWAYS from their downloader service like keeping a world of warcraft account.Are you steam?no,so its hard to speak for them and their TOS wich i have read.they have thousands of games, you have squat, im sure thats why ide try to keep my costumers. companies dont get big from using practices like yours.No disrespect to the marine veteran, Icedhope.Your a disaplined soldier, why the theft of my credit union account?and yet she still works for this company,referring to amy lukima being the offender?
