Bought both HIB5 and the current IndieRoyale bundle yesterday. I already owned Psychonauts (both DRM free on GOG and with achievements on Steam) and Limbo, and I really am not interested in Amnesia (but have to play it now that I own it), but I've been wanting Bastion, and I never miss a Humble Bundle.

I think this has to be the best bundle by far. Granted I already own Psyconauts and Swords & Sworcery, I'm still going to buy this for the other three games and their respective soundtracks.
Yeah, there's no excuse for not getting this bundle. It's the most amazing game bundle in the history of the universe (this is a fact, I checked). It can also be redeemed on the Ubuntu software center, and that's pretty cool, even if I'll probably just redeem the games on Steam. I'm contemplating getting a couple of extra bundles to gift to friends. I would have already, but money's a little tight until next week.
I'm trying to decide what to do with the new bunch of games as I already own two thirds of them and I don't really want to waste them for one game I might only barely play.

I'd say "Give them to Rather Dashing", but the reality is that I'm only slightly better in that I own 2/3rds of them and I'd play the fuck out of the new one because I really have been looking forward to it.
Meh, I need to take a break from buying new bundles. I already need to fork over 10 dollar a month for the VPS I'm maintaining, and I want to save for a Wii U.
Because he wants one. I'm surprised you didn't pick that up.
Indeed.
What I do with my money is no-ones business. Either they like the idea or they don't, either way, I couldn't care less.
Also, if I said I also wanted to save for the Katy Perry edition of Showtime you would have reacted even more violently, if you didn't already roll down from your chair in a frenzy of epilepsy.
Also. This bundle is the greatest. I bought it twice, and I had already owned all but one of the games. So I have an extra gift copy. That I'm holding on to.
This time round, the four top titles in our bundle are Q-Games' abstract platformer PixelJunk Eden (Windows on Steam), the _exclusive_ enhanced PC debut of Magical Time Bean's Escape Goat (Windows on Desura and DRM-free), the musical puzzle adventure Auditorium (Windows and Mac on Steam, Desura, and DRM-free), and Joakim Sandberg's acclaimed 2D title Noitu Love 2: Devolution (Windows on Steam, Desura and DRM-Free).
Also included is a unique bonus: an exclusive new Alpha preview of Joakim Sandberg's upcoming 2D platformer Iconoclasts for Windows in a DRM-free download. And for those who pay $7 USD or their currency equivalent for the June Bug Bundle, we have chiptune superstar 8 Bit Weapon's full-length album 'Bits with Byte'.
You forgot to mention that there's now a handy Collection feature, which makes it much easier to keep track of all the Indie Royale bundles you've gotten, as well as provides rewards for loyal 'customers'. I don't know about the other extras, but if you've bought 5 bundles you get:
1UP Underdog Bundle
Comes with 48 Chambers, Clone Wolf, Drains, Ichi, Tesla The Weatherman, Take Arms: Bot Wars, and Hillbilly Organ Grinder. Also comes with 4 soundtracks, a comic, and 2 chiptune albums: one by Slime Girls and one by Evilwezil
Not sure if any of those interest me yet, but thanks for the list. I think it provides a much better overview of the bundle than indiegala.com itself does. You've really set the standard for future bundle announcements here. It would be nice to have those icons as "smilies" for future bundles.
Because it's not entirely clear, you get 6 games in this bundle.
- 3079
- Fortix 2
- Aztaka
- Dark Scavenger
- DEMISE: Ascension (has some form of DRM, unsure what it is)
- Intrusion 2
All 6 games, as far as I can tell (except DEMISE), are DRM Free, and despite the name, they're not all tower defence games. Some are, mind, but not all.

I did a quick little attempt to see if I could get them down to the text size, but I couldn't get the android (the only one I tried with) to stay clear enough. If anyone else can do it, I'd be very happy. And if TTG made them official smilies, I might squeal.
I like the quirky characters.
The battle and item system is pretty interesting.
You get items all the time by interacting with the world, and after every screen you craft them into Weapons, Items and Allies to use in battle (and in the world sometimes too), but you use that item up, AND you can only use one of the 3 main allies to craft you something after each area, meaning you can't make 2/3 weapons, items or allies at a time. (has to be just one of each for every item you find).
(One makes Weapons
The other makes Items
The final one gets you Allies/Summons)

You'd have to see whatever font size we use here(never had the urge to figure it out), use that as scale and create simple pixel versions from scratch to keep them within text parameters. Desura might be a bit tricky to keep recognisable.

I was trying to use Photoshop to just scale it down. It wasn't working. Doing art from scratch isn't my strong suit. Still... If anyone does it... Yay!
To those still not knowing what Fortix 2 exactly is, imagine this.
Let's say you have a picture of a "sexy" woman, but said sexy woman is only visible through a silhouette. In order to display her though, you need to fill in an area. How do you do that? You start at one of the edges, and then draw a line to the inside of the image, and then you try to get to the edge again, while filling an as big an area as possible. However, there are two things standing in your way of seeing this foxy lady in full. One, a bunch of moving objects that, when colliding with the line you are drawing will cause you to lose a life. In order to not get killed, just fill an area, and you're safe, since the filled out area now counts as part of the edge. The second is the time, because after a while, the image of the hot woman will turn into something akin to a screamer, so that any boner you might have had up until this point will be lost forever, even if the skimpily-dressed woman returns after a while.
Except Fortix 2 totally isn't that at all. Instead, you'll get the very same concept, only with towers which you destroy by filling in areas with the same principle, and monsters, which act as the moving thingamajigs and which aren't nearly as annoying.
Seriously, you're better off downloading MAME with that game I mentioned before (it was called Miss World '96 Nude) than to actually buy that game, but, since it's in a bundle, it's fair game.

Oh please. Faortix 2 is excellent (and has a great Zombie mode, that kicks my ass).
Yep. Its pretty darn good.
I hope they make sequels, I'd be fascinated to see what they could do with it!
(Can't just make a world like that and just leave it!)
Comes with a New Game + once you beat it, so I guess I could give it another go some point in the future and see what interesting things I may have missed out on!
Bundle was worth it just for this splendid little game.
(Its way more fun than it should have any right to be! XD (Inspiring thats for sure))

Bastion ate my soul.
Bastion was my GOTY 2011. Enjoy that one.
It's having mine for desert right now. That game is more fun than it has any right to be.
I regret nothing
Nor should you.
I already had LIMBO and Psychonauts but I don't care... And I'm absolutely LOVING Bastion, wow.
P.S: The soundtracks are all awesome too!
Now, you also get these for beating the average.
-Braid
-Lone Survivor (amazing game BTW)
-Super Meat Boy
WHY AREN'T YOU BUYING IT GOGOGO!!!!!!

...I'll pick it up on sale I'm sure.
You could just burn the money. Or give it to me.

Also, hecks yeah, Noitu Love 2! Always wanted to buy that game.
Also, I think I already have played Iconoclasts. Does it go beyond that desert level thingy?
EDIT: Alright, so this version of The Iconoclasts is a bit different. Awesome!

Demise - RPG
