    Trine 2 looks beautiful...super easy, but beautiful.

    Trine 2 IS beautiful. It might be fairly easy for an experienced platformer, but the physics puzzles and combat help spice stuff up. Honestly, I suck at platforming so I welcomed the fact that there were multiple ways of tackling every obstacle so that I could choose to play with physics puzzles instead of having to time everything exactly. And I loved it even when I got stuck somewhere, because the environments and music were so beautiful.

    Hey, don't go hatin' on Saturday Night Fever!

    Wait, Saturday Night Fever is one of the two on that image I can't see a logical reasoning for to own. What sort of messed up taste do you have?

    ...where do you see Saturday Night Fever in that image? Cause it isn't there.

    Merry Christmas, everyone.

    Well, my dad didn't get home from work until almost 9 (the shitheads in management at the post office having decided that Christmas Eve, on top of being the heaviest parcel day this year, was the perfect time to send out a lot of mail they held onto), so we missed Christmas Eve with my mom's family.

    So since we missed the White Elephant over there, here's my first Christmas gift!

    That's okay. I would've been playing for the colander anyway, unless I saw something better.

    I don't celebrate christmas(personal Choice.) But right now spending it with two great friends.
  • edited December 2012
    I got some cool sunglasses that make me look like a secret agent or a movie star in a White Elephant gift exchange.

    Someone gave me KOTOR II, then someone kicked me from a Steam Group over a personal grudge because I hate Santa Claus.

    Merry Christmas.

    A sheldon cooper t-shirt, a couple of games, and locked out of steam because steam guard is sending an email to an address that has locked me out too.

    A lump of coal, a slap to the chops and a roasted parsnip up the bottom. It was wonderful.

    Ah another Netflix dependant. These companies come and go, I know where my VHS, DVD, and Blu-ray are and will be. My opinion. To me it's like people who buy hosted downloads which has become common on PC and now PSN. I like having my discs, who knows where the hosting will be next year.

    I fully endorse this statement.

    Cool, Just telling you but LBP 2 does not really pick up until you complete a few of the story levels and unlock being able to play levels other people made :)

    Portal bookends, two small circular tables (one blue and one orange), Insanely Twisted Shadow Planet on Steam (#1 on my wishlist), Indie Adventure Bundle on GOG, and a Batman shirt.

    However, ITSP isn't showing up on my Steam games list yet. I've redeemed it and when I browse to my account in a browser it's on my list of games, but it's not showing up anywhere in my client. I'm looking into it, but has anyone run into this before and knows how to fix it?

    Excluding what I get for myself:

    - Ted (DVD)
    - Paper Mario: Sticker Star

    Might get that 1tb Samsung M3 after christmas from my parents, but if not, I don't really mind. I'll just get it for myself.
  • edited December 2012
    Ted BLU-RAY
    Popcorn maker
    Resident Evil 5 for PS3
    Are the highlights. My father got me something grossly inappropriate as well, but I'm not prepared to get into my dad's quest to turn me straight.

    Time for my serious answer to the topic of this thread (before I get wasted on festive brandy)...

    * Lots o' choc
    * A 'South Park' calender
    * A book by Charlie Brooker
    * A non-stick pan
    * A dish stacker/dryer
    * 2x kitchen knifes
    * A set of fragrance oils and candles
    * A TV license
    * 2x bottles of white wine
    * Time spent with a loving family and my wonderful cat, Moose-Pig.
    All in all, I'd say that this Christmas has been...

    Yeah i was about to edit my post to say that you might have gotten it as a present and the person who got it didn't know about the cross-buy thing Sony is doing. BTW a bit off topic but if anyone wants to play PS All-Stars online with me, PM me :)

    Edit: Btw i'm just going to mention that i think Online is the most fun part of the game :)

    Merry Christmas everyone!

    I got loads of chocolates and bath stuff and a necklace but I spent all day playing on my cousins new 3DSXL (while he played with his WWF figures) on the 3D Mario game so my eyes are a bit freaked out.

    Edit: *WWE! I'm so out of touch.

    Everyone got so much cooler stuff than I did!

    I got an external USB bluray player. To replace my knackered bluray drive and allow me to watch Doctor who series 5 again.

    Thick socks for work

    Aaaand some chocolate.

    Oh, and Digimon the movie.

    Still, it was everything I wanted/needed, so I'm happy.

    I forgot to mention I also got this spy watch with a built-in camera and microphone for audio and video recording and picture taking. 8GB memory with a small hidden USB port. Pretty cool. Mic sounds really muffled, but the picture quality is quite good.

    Hey, I have those same pajamas as Dashing. That means I know what it's like to be in Dashing's pants.

    I got a snowman cup, KOTOR 2, and candy canes. At least I can decorate my room with the candy canes.

    I hate Christmas so much.

    ..awful as it sounds (and trust me, I DO know how terrible this is gonna look like when I say it), surprisingly little considering what the rest of my family got. I can't help but feel a little disappointed.

    - Star Wars: The Clone Wars Monopoly (which I will never play)
    - Family Guy pajamas
    - Socks
    - Gloves
    - That Lego Star Wars Darth Vader torch keychain
    - A new ear-stud
    ...and a bunch of misc sweets.

    Like I say, not a whole bunch, all told. I can't help feeling like I'm missing something that balances it all out. I know I asked for driving lessons - maybe that's what's not there yet. I dunno.
