Okay! Surprisingly there isn't a thread like this yet! This guy needs to be stopped!!!! He abducted little kids, ****** them, gave them a gun, and killed their own families! Really ****** up situation here!

The link; they say that he will eventually take over the world by the end of the year by posting banners and everything! We need to do something about this if you got a heart and stand up to him!!! He lives in Africa. Called the invisible children!:eek:

    Can't make an Omelet with out breaking a few children's lives..That's why monsters like him use child soldiers cos people don't want to hurt them and it makes it easyer for him. There sheilds as well as guns.

    Why? Has he attacked the US? Should we really be worried on what other nations are doing? Yes its bad, and I know for a fact that I will have to get involved one way or the other(my schoolboard has flat out admitted that we will be doing something on this matter, hopefully not plain old advertisement), but unless he is using the child army as suicide bombers on us or our allies, I don't see why we need to attack him even if he is kidnapping children.

    The cause is great, but there's a huge, HUGE problem. Look at the fine print on the donate screen. Only 30% of your donation goes to Uganda. The rest goes to the charity. That's right. Invisible Children swipes 70% of your donation.

    WHAT THE ACTUAL HELL??!??!?!?!??!?!?!?!?!?????????

    Well they do need to make money, but 70%? I know that the teacher of my class is a member of invisible children, so I'm sure I can get him to explain that.

    Not saying it could be a problem, but this could eventually get out of hand! Because he is using the governments to hide behind to order to do so! This could also be a big threat later on in our future.

    The children army? Again, I am not AGAINST the cause of Invisible children, but a children army has failed before. I just don't see a threat. I DO see however parents failing to protect their own children.
    Man my school probably will hate me whenever we have to fight this, I really don't see a threat.

    The US government have supported the Ugandan government in trying to capture Kony with logistic advice and equipment since 2008 and have sent 100 combat troops into central Africa to support to the Ugandan forces. To be honest I can't say that supporting the Ugandan government is a very good move for the US seeing as there own human rights violations.

    Say where is this fine print for the 70-30 thing on prices.

    I like debating this teacher on these matters, and I kinda want to see how he feels on that percentage.

    Funny fact. Most kids who do fight for their familes so they can eat...most are captured because they're rivals.

    That is true. The US used to hire children in their armies so they could feed their families.

    No matter what is done its going to end tragically.. this is one of those situations with no correct solution... Doing nothing seems wrong.. but at the same time policing the world is not our right... in fact its plain meritocracy... just because we are successful (arguably).. doesn't make us right... Do not get me wrong.. I love my country, I love being American.. but I do not think I am inherently superior... Just individually awesomesauce.. and sexy.

    Yeah I am getting tired of the US going around governing the world. We got our own S**T too to work on, lets not go attacking warlords who is just playing real-world Pokemon.

    No they used guns, and if they didn't that would be worse as they would have no means to defend themselves and are essentially sitting ducks. KONY at least allows self-defense in that regard, but regardless, they still used guns back then and still shot at people.
